[Someone Else]

It's an MMORPG. (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) It's the first of it's kind to be side-scrolling. While alot of you will proably groan about that (not a fan of side-scrolling myself) this doesn't really matter. It'd be annoying if it wasn't, this actually makes the game better in my opinion. But you'd have to play it to discover why.

The game revolves around fighting and leveling, called level grinding, which gets a little bland after a while. You can also quest, but that alot of times revolves around getting items dropped by monsters, which gets you right back to battling. It's very repeatitive.

Like most RPGs, you gain experience points from killing monsters and questing, eventually leading to a Level up. When you level up, you gain Ability Points you can use to increase your Dexterity, Strength, Luck, and/or Intelligence. When you reach level 10, you can get a job (or class). The classes are Warrior, Wizard, Theif, and Bowman. After you get your job and level up, you get Skill Points you can use to learn new skills to aid you in battle.

KSing (kill stealing, to finish off a monster someone else is fighting) is a big problem in MS. It's worse than any other MMORPG I've ever played. In fact, you should become a mage just so you can stay away from it all... It's true, mages aren't the only KSers, but let's face the facts people, there are far more mages in the game than other classes and many of them seem to be arrogant and don't give a #%@& about other people. The community in general really aren't that nice either, it's obvious the players are all about 8-12.

Anyway, on the bottom line, most of what you do in the game is level grind and level grind to get to high levels. You can also team up with friends if you have any... to make the game a little more interesting. The game is fun to play now and again when you've got nothing to do; but it's dangerously addicting and will take you away from real life. No matter how much you say "I won't let that happen, pshaw" it will if you're not careful. Trust me. Only a select few managed to keep away from addicting-ness the game.

As long as you're sure to manage your time you play on the game, the sheer simplicity of this game will make it fun for you. Just make sure not to stay away from the game for too long... or everyone on your buddy list will delete you.

As it turns out, we should never have to pay for MS directly from our accounts.

You see, in MS we have a thing called the Cash Shop. Currently, it isn't released, but we have a display of it open where we can browse through the items only available from it (special clothes and other rare things).

You guessed it, you have to pay real money for this stuff. If the MS crew is smart they won't charge too much for it. If all goes well and people are willing to pay real money for these items, MS will remain free. If not, they'll have to charge us. =(

You should go to Victoria Island at lvl 10, always lvl 10. Level 8 if you are a magician, however, because you can advance to a magician at level 8. For everything else, lvl 10. Oh yeah, do not make a character without knowing what class you are going to be. If you don't, your character is screwed royally. Here's a little list of the statistics reccomended for each class:

Warrior: - Max Improve HP Increase the first thing you do. Power Strike is a must have for warriors.
4 int
4 luk

Dex should always be twice your level, and put everything else into str.

Bowman: - The most boring class, in my opinion. Nothing to say about him. Max critical shot is essential though.
4 int
4 luk

Str should be enough to equip your next set of equipment, everything else goes into dex.

Magician: - Magic user from afar, highly suggested you upgrade Max MP Increase first, then claw.
4 str
4 dex

Luk should be twice your level, everything else go to int.

Thief:

Str Dagger Thief - A faster dagger, but lesser atk
4 int

Str and dex should be enough to equip your dagger, everything else goes into luk

Luk Dagger Thief/Claw Thief - Luk daggers have a greater atk with slower atk speed (but still fast), and claw thieves use shurikens to attack from afar.
4 str
4 int

Luk should be twice your level, everything else into luk

For every class, do not put any stat points into MP or HP. Also, it's ok to have 5 points into stats you don't need also, but 4 is very nice.

You can't create parties until you have a job.

Usually when MS goes offline, you're just getting disconnected fora brief moment, log in again.

Oh yeah, one more thing... if you get a message saying that the number of players online has reached a limit, keep trying to log in. Eventually, you should get in the game.

No it doesnt bore!! The game remains funny. Especialy when you make friends and party with them. I met a guy named s0me0ne (yeha strange name huh? ;) ) and he made a kinda mafia thingy! :wacko: It's funny cuz he gives missions and even rewards you!

My char is lvl 18 now. I never saw Wind Dude or watch playing it... Are you guys quiting it? :D

Well last time i was on for more then 20 minutes was last week, i have been swamped with work, schoolwork, homework, sport and these forums. Plus last nigth i just got my DS so i'm going on tongith after tennis for a bit.

It's not boring if you play with friends and have a goal in the game... My goal is to use the Evil Wings Staff, and to get to level 70 before Ossyria comes out :silence:

...MS got boring a loooooooong time ago... so I stopped. Too long for leveling, just after level 10!!! I haven't logged in forever... XD They made the mages too powerful, I mean, I'm fighting Stone Golems by Sleepywood, but wthen a mage comes down, casts lightning, and kses me. It's retarded... :)

Also, just warning you, there have been reports of hackers using MS to put viruses on your computer. Be careful. (I'm serious!)

Slime Tree - Lots o' slime!
Pig Beach - LEATHER!!!
Blue Mushroom Forest - Blue Mushroom caps!!!
Over the Wall - BRANCHES AND LEAVES!
Sleepywood - Lots of tails, Undead Charms, Salad AND MORE!!!
Hunting Grounds I,II,III - Snail shells, and stuff...
These are the only places I can remember right now that were good, and I'm too lazy to post where they are located. I'll post about them later. XD

I have a problem in that when i go to my email account to verify my username - the link it gives redirects me to the login page which is totally useless as i cant activate my account from there. Kya, I had nothing better to do and well, spending a day in bed is no fun, even with music (which eventually gave me a headache) Heh that and the fact WD had told me to do so a few days ago.

For me, you just have to log in and then you're registered.

Then you're supposed to hit the game dowload link and then follow the instructions

Okay, the problem is that you need to login before you can verify your account. Do that, and go to you personal information. Then there SHOULD be some button that says 'Verification Code'. Click that, and put your code in from the e-mail that got sent to you, then click 'Ok'. (don't press enter, it won't work if you do that for some reason)

NO! You know the place where you downloaded MS? Well under that theres another click thingy with a mushroom house on it. Click and download it to get the Manual Patcher. Thats all I can tell you.

Nope they can't. But overall I think thiefs are the best. Warrior and Archer are pretty cool to! My archer DiddyK0ng is lvl 23 my warrior DonkeyK0ng is lvl 17 and my Thief DiddyKong1 is lvl 16. I am gonna make a mage called DixieKong so of every class I have 1. Well almost DixieKong is just lvl 4 XD

Mystic warrior gave me this advice awhile ago-Make you dex twice your level

Yeah but sometimes your STR needs to be higher than what it would be with your DEX at that level.

Wizards definetly are too powerful, but they can get beat up easily with their low Wep. Defense and HP. Personally, I think they should have made them more durable and less powerful so they can't KS quite as much.

Dude, defaming wiz's seldom works. I know someone who knew someone (honestly :agitated:) that de-famed a wiz for ksing. Well, this wiz used the /find option on that person to find out where he was, got a bunch of his wizard friends, and they all found and de-famed him.

Hey, but I did find the PET obstacle course, here is how to get to it XD

Goto Henesys and the market place/gamzone place, wherever u see a guy talking about pets and there is a statue kitty next to him. press up on the statue then press up on the next statue, it will take u straight to the obstacle course, warning though the obstacle course is so hard to do, took me like 1 hour to reach the top, try it...its a pain when u fall and your near the top X(

1. I'd prefer to train amongst only a few people to lvl faster, instead of 3 billion.

2. Or maybe I just don't like you. :P

Exactly. Often times I find partying slows the EXP income rather than boosting it, or maybe the people I party with just stand around and let me do all the fighting. XD
