I would say Mogall forest and the Babi Lighthouse...
Mercury Lighthouse annoyed me with it's cheap music and annoying riddle near the statue but over all... not hard.

There were no horrible battles in GS, the strategic battles such as Valkagar and Dullahan didn't come along until GS2. Most of the battles in GS1 were pretty straightforward.

The puzzles were evil in the first game, though.

Crossbone isle for me. Deadbeard was sort of hard, and the guardians were annoying but that is it.

Kraken >_<. Hardest boss fight in the game.
I think it's cause they suddenly up the difficulty, and if you didn't really level up properly, you don't stand a chance.

Kraken is no problem if you have some Water of Life. I beat him around 15. lvl easily.

Oh, KraKen. I thought you said Kraden for a moment there, and I was somewhat confused... :D

I didn't really find that anything in the game was overly challenging, but the only place I got stuck for a while was Altmiller Cave, simply because it took me a while to try pressing "A" at the weird white outline that was lying on the ground. other than that, I didn't find any of the puzzles or battles overly hard.

Kraken is easy, although I did die first time I fought him. Now if there is an easy boss, it has to be Toadonpa. That guy was sooooooooo easy. First time I fought him, I didn't get damaged because of his low luck. I stunned him, put him to sleep ect ect..... Seriously, I didnt get damaged AT ALL!!!

Well, this may be a glitch, but once, on the world map just outside of Vale/Vault, APES appeared! >_< I was no match for them....

Well, the hardest boss for me was probably the Kraken. I wasn't levelled up enough, and I couldn't beat him no matter how hard I tried, so I had to start a new game!

Some puzzles were fun, but the Lighthouses were just plain frustrating.

Mercury was really easy!! I found a great leveling up strategy!
Find a bee, any type. Defend until there is about 6 on the screen. Then just press A until the battle ends. You should have heaps of experience!!

9 rooms (I think), and then a frikken' hard boss at the end? Yeah, that's a pretty tough dungeon.

I have to agree that the Mercury Lighthouse is probably the most easiest Lighthouse in the whole two games.

And I also agree on Mogall Forest! The ape at the end practically cracked me up when it jumped out of the tree stump! I had fun fighting it, and it looked hilarious!

Wan't the Lamakan Desert hard? the random battles make the desert even more annoying! If you have the patience, though, (I know I don't) you can get major experience from constant Random battles.

Yep, Lamakan Desert was quite frustrating as well, because the monsters there were quite hard compared to the level you most probably will be on; but you gain a whole heap of experience!

To be honest there weren't many places i found hard because i train hard brofe leaving places... i was level 7 before i left vale and level 18 when i reached mercury lighthouse :blink:

I Have to say crossbone isle...those guardians raped me every time then deadbeard took a few tries cuz i go high attack and break is a %#$@!!! :( :P :agitated:

The "guradians" weren't that hard. Even when I went there early. They just took a while. Easiest way to take them down is to attack with the "Bane" djinni until the enemy is poisioned. Deadbeard only downed three of my guys once a piece. I think I was at level 25 when I did that.

I'm assuming that since you said this and posted, it's ok for me to post here as well.

I found Deadbeard to be a difficult boss, sure, but personally, the battle atop Venus lighthouse was harder for me. Perhaps the fact that it's two battles in a row unnerved me. Last time I beat the game I think I was level 28 or so...
