Have any of you heard of it? It's one of my favorite games for the Playstation 2! I'm currently borrowing it from a friend, asked me to beat a level for him, I did, took me a hard 3 days to beat it, though.
It's 2010, Osea and Yuktobonia are at peace after the events of Ace Combat 4, or some other war. Well, during a training excercise, 4 pilots, one of them being you, get attacked by Yuke forces, for some unkown reason. After that operation is covered up, the next mission for the squadron arises. Fighting unmanned drones, it's all like taget practice, then, after the drones are defeated, the same planes from the squad from last time attack again. After that, your Base Captain, calls you back to Sand Island, right after your Captain gets shot down, and says that Yuktobonia has declared war on Osea.
That's a little storyline for you people who don't have the game, yet. All I can say that it is an awsome one, and is worth buying. Or renting. I love the planes you get to fly in that game, especially the F-14 Tomcat and F-14D Super Tomcat. Those two are my favorite planes.

The Ace Combat series is supposedly coming out for the GBA, if I recall correctly. I'll get it if the PS2 version was good enough.

Ace Combat on the GBA? *laughs* cool. If they can Muster graphics similar to KH: CoM, then sure, a great idea. Anyless however and it'll be a flop. No doubt.

The fifth one is the best, seriously. The Unsung War is the best.

I repeat myself. I repeat myself. :)
Electrosphere had a crap "Ending". And the planes were to hard to unlock. I would of given anything to have the Nightraven X-49.
But never got it...

Completed the game in a day, and I gotta say it's the best air combat game I've played so far.
You'd think it's just about combat, but I was amazed at the thrilling storyline the game had, the only thing thing that kept me playing the game until it was finished was to find out more and more about the plot.
This game gets an 8.5/10 from me.
