Dark Cloud 2 is waaaaaaay better than Dark Cloud 1! I mean the graphics are awesome and perfect. And the music is also better than Dark Cloud 1. <_<

Heh. I loved dark Cloud for a while. Especially the "socketing weapons" system.
I never bothered with Dark Cloud 2 because the lead char used a ... wrench?

Well you can make the wrnch a hammer you know... I didn't like number 1 that much because of all that nasty socketing stuff... then the first dungeon that has like over 15 floors! I can't possibly imagine the 100 floor dungeon when you beat the game :P. Any ways Dark cloud 2 is better in my opinion, especially the graphics. they are smooth and cartoony at the same time. I mean that they look cartoony, but not paper cut out style...

I have completed them both. To tell you the truth the 100 floor dungeon at the end of the game is the easiest part, I did it in 2 hours. As for Dark Chronicles, I mostly use Monica as beating up gigantic monsters with a wrench doesn't really seem right.

I did however manage to have a chronicle sword before I left the first dungeon :P

Yeah, that is possible if you do nothing but whack enemys, I got the Chronicle sword before that Desert Temple, I trained up my Macho Blade/Sword alot in the sunken ship.

Back in the day, I had a fetish for claymore's, So i decided to try and make one on Dark cloud, so I spent age in the first dungeon looking for one/ trying to make one. lol
Thus, I got the chronicle because it took so long.
I never did get the claymore either: Not until I got a buster sword in the desert temple dungeon.

Oh well.... for some strange reason I have had this "hate" for Dark Cloud 1 but a MAJOR liking for Dark Cloud 2. And for some reason the wrench was a creative Idea. And also the fact that the Music in DC2 wasn't just 2 seconds long like the DCI mean the divine dragon thing! That music sucked..... The moon sea was awesome... I can play Gundor Volcano Grotto on the piano!

Anyways I enjoyed Dark cloud 1 More then Dark Cloud 2 because of the set of characters, the socketing of weapons and the Dungouns.

But, the characters sucked. And tat all the main character did was stand there and never talk, or anything. It really pissed me off.

But the weapon upgrade system is on a par with the materia from Final Fantasy VII. :P

It was great.
