Anyone played ROSE online? It's an mmorpg from Gravity.
It looks good and I really want to play it. It took about 3 hours to download it :D
But I have a problem, when I start the game this comes up.
When I click yes or no the game crashes. Can someone decipher this? probably not :(

Ragnarok Online has a similar error.

Some Solutions are:

- Make sure it is the International version you download. ( If they have one. )
- Have a decent Graphics Card. ( Nvidia Preferably )
- Try setting your color settings to 16 bit or higher.
- Have your Rose Online.exe Patch Completely.
- Have the latest version of direct X.



If those solutions don't work It might be because It has region control Like KRO.

Thanks, it has to work because my brother played it to in "Leuven" (a city in Belgium)
I have Windows 2000 though, and my brother has XP

EDIT: when I runned ROSE for the first time, there were some errors.
Maybe that's the bug?

Have you made sure your system has met the requirements needed?

And if it has try re-installing the game or installing Windows Xp.

Well, after looking at the error, it seems that it's either in another language (Although the setup would've suggested that), or the game just sucks.

Yeah it's in Korean unfourtunately. But I decidced not to dowload it.. It looks like a girl's game.

I know what the problem is. If you want to play the game, make sure your pc language stands on English. And it is not a girls game, it is really fun.

To me R.O.S.E online means Ragnarok Online Second Edition. ^_^

Anyways since gravity made this one, It usually means Cheap GM'S, Bad Customer Service, Hackers and loads of downtime and errors.

if ROSE was not so laggy I would play it, I got to the job advancement thingy and man is that town LAGGY, I can barely move and when I do move I move to far.......

Well, I decided one day that I would try out the Ragnarok 15 Day Trial, so I downloaded that, and when I tried to extract it from WinRAR last night, I think I got the same kind of error as GohanDuo here.

Apparently, the file seems rather encrypted or corrupt. I don't know what the cause of this is, but I believe this is covered in the FAQ on the site. Anyone care to take a crack at this?

If you have a bad computer, maybe that would be smart. I have a Hawker on like level 23. It's hard to level up now.

I found out how to get my account registered. I needed to turn off my firewall. O.o

Anyway, this game is pretty cool. Translations are a little wierd, (Desert of Dead Person?!) but that's just a little thing anyway. MS is far more engaging for some odd reason, probably because of the simplicity, but it could just be me. I'm a lvl 12 Soldier, with the name of WindDude. (duh)

EDIT: I don't get much lag at all.

it looks great but i cant download it because it would slow down my computer for the next 2 and a bit hours will download it tonight though looks great

Edit : Stupid 1 year old technology. It crashed at 90%.

Edit again : Ok its downloaded but now when i try to acess the server it says that the sever is exceeded whats wrong now ???
