Yes yes, I don't know flash, but I do know one thing, and that's variables, and if anything, flash should use variables, hopefully easily.
Ok, here's the idea. Using random variables, GSW will change its weather every hour. It would be the same variable for everyone, and it would contact the server so that everyone would have the same weather occuring. Here's how the actual weather layout would work though(thus the title).
There are two variables, snow and rain. Every hour, the variables go up one, stay the same, or go down one, with four different levels for rain; 0-3; and two for snow; 0-1.
If snow is at level 0 and rain is at level:
0, there is no rain.
1, there is light rain.
2, there is rain.
3, its a real storm, lightning and all.
If snow is at level 1 and rain is at level:
0, there is just wind.
1, there is light snow.
2, there is heavy snow.
3, there is hail.
it should be a pretty simple system to set up, nothing really complex about it. Also, it doesnt have to be the same for everyone, it can be different for different users, but it would be nice if it was the same. Would this be too hard to add in by the Beta?

Quick update, a website showing how to create a snow effect(very GS looking too) in case you need it or need an easy way to do it.
http://www.sitepoint...ing-snow-effect
and also, if you want/need a rain effect, there's one here...lightning too....

having weather would be easy, the problem is making a whole new map with the snow tiles. Rain you just dim everything down and add the rain effect, but for snow you'd have to have the same map with diff tiles, and then add in stuff like snowmen :P.
i personally love the idea. it was suggested a few months ago, but max said he wasn't interested in implementing it for a while.
it's one of those unimportant extras. Allbeit, an awsome unimportant extra :).

As Neon said, this seems to be brought up during each server test. While it is an interesting idea, it is not as simply as you think it is. We will consider it for future releases, and it has a good chance of being implemented eventually, but for now it'll stay on our "Possible Features" list.
