Chapter 1: Love at first sight?

So I was alone in Tolbi. Isaac was preparing for Colosso. Mia and Garet were away elsewhere and i was touring the castle. I'll say this much: The castle at Vault is just a small house compared to the castle at Tolbi.

I explored quite alot of rooms. I found, what looked like, an old key in a wrecked box. I kept it. I wonder what would have happened if i didn't... Anyway, i scaled a tower and looked out of the window. Despite being a Wind Adept i do get rather woozy with heights. Still, i looked all around. From that tower, i could see all of Tolbi. I gasped in wonder, then all was silent, except from a light sob from a locked door.

I slowly walked towards it and the crying stopped.
"Reveal..." I whispered. I saw, past the locked door, a girl with shoulder-length blonde hair, like my own. Also like me, she was dressed in green attire. The way she looked at the door... no, she was looking at me, she knew i was here. She knew it was me. Somehow...

Was she looking through the door too??

I pulled out the old key that i had found and slid it under the door. I smiled in the direction of the girl. She smiled back. I walked off, but was stopped by a voice in my head.

"Sheba."

I yelped quietly and bore a confused look on my face,

"My name is Sheba. You are Ivan, a Jupiter Adept, like me, correct?"

As frightened as i should have been, I felt nothing hostile. about the voice. But she did seem to read my mind; something i thought only i could do. I 'thought' back.

"You can get out now."

....

Ok... I was nervous... Intimidated. I did not know what to say.

And with that i left for Colosso.

Chapter 2: Remorse

Ever since then I couldn't stop thinking about her. I wondered and wondered and found out nothing new about her. Until we saw Saturos and Menardi again. The look on Isaac and Garet's faces was so fearsome that thinking it was them was impossible. They leaked a plan. One that involved a man called Felix, whom Isaac seemed to know, and the Venus Lighthouse. I realized then that they needed one adept of each element to light each of the lighthouses. They had two Mars Adepts. One Mercury Adept. And, one Venus Adept. All they were missing was a Jupiter Adept. I was expecting them to take me, but they mentioned that they already had one. And I knew who it was.

I didn’t know her, but I had this sudden urge to rush to her and protect her. She would eventually end up at the Jupiter Lighthouse. That was where I wanted to go. Only we had two problems. We had no idea where it was, and we had to stop the beacon at Venus Lighthouse to be lit. They went away again. We would have to stop at Lalivero. But to get there, we had to pass through Suhulla Desert.

All of this started with the Shaman’s Rod… I wish none of this had happened. I wish I wasn’t different. However, I must press on. Without me, I’m sure that the lighthouses would all be sure to be lit. And, I’m sure Isaac will tell me likewise.

Chapter 3: The Venus Lighthouse

The Lighthouse of Earth. Venus Lighthouse. There were so many traps. And i had to Mind Read statues... Strange things happen on a strange trip.

By the time we reached the top, Saturos and Menardi were already there. Ready to light the beacon. As was Sheba. Everyone was talking except me, who just stood there, staring... I only came to when i got hit by Menardi. There, we fought a gruesome battle. Their Fire Psyenergies gave us all severe burns. It was Mia who saved our day. The battle could not have been won without her.

With their dying breaths, the two from the north chuckled and lit the beacon. The ground shook and Sheba fell into the sea. I ran to jump off after her, until Felix bet me to it. However, I was held back by Garet at the time.

The only other thing i remembered from that day was the separation of Idejima from the mainland. With Felix, Sheba, Jenna, Kraden and Alex floating on it. I knew then, i would not see her for a long time.

I also appreciate the fact its in small amounts as it means i get to read it in one shot rather than in a few attempts with interruptions.
