          The fonts aren't smooth - that's just because my PC smooths screen fonts so they aren't all ugly and blocky :P On your screen, it will look like normal.

            So your PC smooths all fonts, even forums, web pages, everything? Wow, I couldn't handle that. Well, I think it needs a better blended banner, a background, and something done with the content area.

              The thumbs in the content are just there so I could get an idea of placement. I've retooled it now so there's more blue (blue headers, footers, etc.). The main problem is STILL with damn IE. For some reason, it recognizes the @import (?!?!?!), so I need to find some hacks now I s'pose :/

              EDIT: Your PC should be able to handle ClearType screen fonts...Right Click > Properties > Appeareance > Effects. There could've also been some .jpg distortion in the pic too.

              But anyway, it makes a noticeable difference (makes a bigger impact full screen of course):

                    Don't use CSS hacks, you will only pay for them when newer browsers come out. New version is better, but I left more critique in dA.

                      I already saw.
                      But you've got it wrong there with hacks - Microsoft said they WON'T be fully supporting CSS2, AND they aren't going to fix some other stuff with IE7. So using hacks would still be a must later on. I've managed to get around some of the buggy things that IE's box-model has, but there's still a few other minor glitches.

                              Actually, between Opera, FF, and IE, 99% of the time with a complex website, you need some sort of 'hack' that won't validate properly.

                              EDIT: http://x4.putfile.co...15221080865.png

                              There is a link to your website. The boxed area is the area I don't like. It looks odd having your menu title longer than your heading. It doesn't flow. Perhaps adding something or making your heading the same lenght.

                                  Motto needs more contrast, tone down the font size in content area (8pt tahoma or verdana maybe?). Give the subheaders captial letters for the start of each word. Links should be dark when not highlighted, and lighter when the mouse is over them. Has great potential, but still some kinks. Nice work so far.

                                    I can understand motto contrast, subheader, and MAYBE links, but the font size stays because 8pt is too tiny; it needs to be large enough to where everyone has an easy time reading it. After all, it's a content driven site once you think about it (despite the fact it has had little content over its life XD)

                                      Well your content area isn't that big, so unless you make it wider, I'd suggest making smaller font, especially since you will be putting guides and walkthroughs on the site.

                                        Guides and walkthroughs won't be put in to that puny template, as they'll be .txt files basically (GameFAQs style is the best style) and the area is larger than you think - the interactive stuff is main page(s) only, so for full news and the likes, you'll be seeing more area to work with.

                                            Just having a look through that code, the navigation can be done in styled lists, take a look at:

                                            http://css.maxdesign.com.au/index.htm

                                            And you should indent like this:

                                            <html>
                                            <head>
                                            <title>
                                            </head>
                                            <body>
                                            <div>

                                            etc. Rather than using tabs, makes code easier to work with.

                                            [EDIT] the tabs don't work in IPB, sorry.
                                            Just use one space per line, like

                                            <html>
                                            _<head>
                                            __<title>
                                            _</head>
                                            _<body>
                                            __<div>
