you cannot remove a curse from an item. you can, however, remove the effects of the curse with the "Cleric's Ring", found in Crossbone Isle. you will still need to go to a sanctum to remove the items, but they won't have any other effects. seeing as you're fighting deadbeard, you should have the cleric's ring by now. if not, go back and open any unopened chests in crossbone isle; I think it's in the room with the dragon statue.

as for your second question, you should be able to beat deadbeard at the level you are at now, but it will be somewhat challenging. if you want to be safe, I recommend training them to level 35 or so, but level 30 should be enough.

Well, i have clerics ring. And it removes that curse from one guy only? So if i use Muramasa on Garet and Cleric's ring at same time there will be no curse effect?

      1. SHAME ON YOUR FOR DOUBLE POSTING!!!

      2. It only effects the person who you equip the Cleric's Ring to.

      3. That really depends on what class you want your characters to have.

        1. The bounding effect of a curse can be fought with the Cleric's Ring. If the item has some sort of stat defect (-20resist, etc) then the Cleric's Ring won't help.

        2. Deadbeard can be beat around level 21+ You should be fine.

are you sure? I thought the Cleric's ring just prevented a Curse's effect (which is to prevent you from attacking from time to time)? It obviously can't negate a stat defect, so...

          maybe I'm misinterpreting... sorry

The bounding effect (not attacking from time to time) can be negated with the Cleric's Ring.
            Stat downgrades, cannot.

That's true but still, I feel that it isn't worth using cursed items at all. It's just too much of a bother, but if there is a cursed item that you want to equip, the cleric's ring is the only way to go.

You're new here, so you get 1 warning: Double-post or spam = warning for you.

You can't remove a curse from items. You can, however:

-Use the clerics ring to remove the curse's effects for one person
-Remove the cursed item from the person, but not the curse from the item.

You can... remove the cursed item from the person, but not the curse from the item.

                  Nice wording B)

another thing... once somebody has been cursed (regardless of whether the item is removed or not), the only way you can actually remove the Curse itself (and not just its effect) is to go to a Sanctum...
but that wouldn't make sense if you want a cursed item on a character... never mind...

And then that fruitcake removes all cursed items when you only wanted the weapon removed. B)

Also, I scored Fire on that quiz thing of yours Enoch.
