The last GSW server test had a huge issue with the boundaries on objects. The problem is that the boundaries are a box around them, and not the object itself. It would probably be hard to change this, but I think it would help a lot with 'map' design and make walking around the town a lot less problematic :o.

The biggest problem was the trees. it might be better to, if you can't make the boundaries shaped, lower the top boudary to about 1/4 down from the top of the tree. It removes the problem of not being able to cut through the corner, and it's more realistic that you would be able to walk behind the tree anyway :P. The problem then is getting everyone's sprite to stay behind the tree >_<.

We're a step ahead of you Neon, that's been in the works for several months now, and should almost definately be implemented by the next server test. Like I said in the latest update, we are refining the mapping system, and part of that will inherently create better object borders.
