Take my advice little dude, it blows, try and focus more on digital-art and less on manual drawing. Download Photoshop and see what you can do on that.

In a professional way, the artwork isn't good, but if you really look at it from his level he's good. If he just draws more he'd get better, that's how alot of great artists get going.

They are nice, I'm just saying they look like how I drew when I was seven. I'm not saying they are crap. Theyr'e good. Really. He just needs to improve a little. I mean back then I didn't even know how to draw heads well. I mean, those are just like sketches, right? Those are good, I justwanna see some color, and a minor touch of improvement. It's either it needs improvement, or the displays are too blurry. I'll bet on it being blurry. Nice job, likewise.

Nice art kid. Could be better if you scanned it into APS or something then spruced it up, but hey, not everyone has those resources I guess. Even in THIS day and age. Christ, apparently I live on a farm, and even I have a scanner AND Adobe photoshop.

We can better rename this topic to the official b'tchin topic. I only read some comments on the first page, on the second one they were more or less pointed at somebody else. It can be funny but rremember you don't really make friends with it.

It's not very good, but as said before; practise makes perfect. You can buy Turorial book in your local book store, which surely makes you a bit better. Try to erase some sketching lines, then redrawn them, color them if you want, and you have a good drawing. But I suggest using normal clean paper, even for sketches. Maybe it happens that a very good sketch turns out to be very good and you won't have such a drawing on such bad paper.

No art is pefect and you can only rate it based on how much someone has improved. As such, no one has the ability to rate any of his stuff as yet. I mean, you could compare it to the Mona Lisa but what the hell would be the point in that!? Giving tips and such is the right way to go about it, and then you rate his next work based on whether he used those or not, or if he's just improved generally.

As such I'll abstain from any kind of rating, but i would say that following the tips that other people have set down is probably the right thing to do. As a forum, we arent ALWAYS this abusive so dont get the wrong impression..this just seems to be a bad time.

Okay let me put it this way.

There is a reason why the Picasso is worth all that money, and there is an obvious reason why his drawings are worth barely anything. Does that makes sense to anyone? Of course we're supposed to rate things on OUR standards. If reviewers rated video games based on the games standards then EVERY game is technically pretty good for it's own standards. :P

At least if you're honest with him he can make his decision based on your honest opinions rather than based on your white lies. There's being mean and then there's just being blunt, be blunt with him instead of being mean by lying to his face.
