Scroll down to the bottom of this Webpage to download the demo. http://www.ageofempires3.com
Now, I've played the demo since the day it's been released and might I say.
THIS IS THE BEST STRATEGY GAME TO DATE.
Yes, it's even better Warcraft, but I just always preferred the Age of Series to Warcraft, call me biased if you may. After all how could I compare a demo to the almighty Warcraft 3: Frozen Throne?
Age of Empires III, takes off a few years after Age of Empires: Age of Kings stopped us waiting for more. This time, it's about capturing/conquering the Americas. You can control a total of eight civilizations to do your bidding, to bring your "home city" fame, riches, glory. Anything that's nice, and in a bag of chips… But I’m tired, I can’t type of anymore.
Let’s discus the Age of series.
P.S. The other topic for Age of Empires is old, lets start afresh.

I can't wait untill AoE3 is released ;D
Even though it won't work on my computer.
I'll have to wait untill a mac version comes out.
Oh well. I'm a pretty patient person, so I'll come through.
I love AOE2:C, I started playing it again recently and rediscovered it's pure awesomicity. I never found warcraft very fun. It's graphics annoy the heck out of me and I find the gameplay to be repetetive. But then again, I don't have it, I've only played it internet cafe's.
But even online it seems like the same thing over and over.
Will blizzard release another game that doesn't disapoint me? I hope so.
For example. The original starcraft. I found that to be THE best strategy game ever ;D It's simplicity are amazing. But how it all falls into place is even greater.
Ensemble have produced numerous games but I believe the Age of Empires series has been, and still is, their peak. The intensity of the map design and the specifics required to win are amazing. The possibilities are endless and I do believe that there will be an AoE5. Well, I hope atleast. But I don't try to look to far into the future. Live life in the present.
Well, I think I've overdone this but anyway.
Bye ;D

But I think they may have put to much into graphics and not enough into gameplay. But we can only learn more with time.

Wait..
Oh.
I didn't really like AOM games.
Mainly because it looks absolutely terrible on my computer, due to the fact that my computer is the single worst computer in this district. Maybe. Probably not.
But I don't even have a 3dFx card.
Pretty bad, Huh?
I probably would really like the AOM games if they'd actually worked, but oh well. Life goes on.
I'll live.
I want another AOE game. But with the same graphics as the first 2.
(;D

I'm thinking about making an Age of Mythology campaigne chronicling the Greek Heroes as close to the actual mythology itself as possible. I'm also adding the adventures of a Greek mercenary band, who crosses paths with the aftermath of what the heroes have caused.
Last time I played a random map, I was best with Odin. The Norse are very vertasile, but I've been stuck lately, and I put the game aside. Anyone else Play Norse on AOM? I might need some pointers.

My fave PC strategy game is Empire Earth. Nobody really seems to like it, but I love it. It has the best Map Editor of all

AoM was amazing, its storyline was way better than AoE, well i suppose AoE was like letting you play through history, not really a storyline though. But AoE was good, the expansion was kinda crap though.

I still love StarCraft to bits. Well, not really. My StarCraft disk is 100% intact.
