I've picked up Golden Sun again, It's been probably a year since I've played it. So when was the last time you played? I Think I'm going 10x faster than i did the game before, it's neat.

Hm... I picked up The Lost Age a month ago, started playing at night until 2 o'clock, ran out of batteries, and then sort of stopped. I have no clue when I may continue.

Golden Sun... Around that same time, I guess.

What I mainly did was mind read everyone over and over, and probably did things that a normal person wouldn't do while playing the first time. So in my case, I'm playing slower than I did before, not faster. >_>

I played the first Golden Sun, and beat fusion dragon on the first try :D ( Im proud of myself), I did that about 3 months ago.

I haven't played in awhile. Last time i did though,i got to lv28 and best Fusion first shot. Lowest lv i beat him on.

I am still playing it. I am trying to see how far I can level up. right now I am at level 38 with Isaac and level 37 with the rest of them. It took all my will power to level them up past level 30 and continue on.

About four months ago, I picked it up but then bought Fire Emblem and haven't played it since. I don't know if I will go back to it, but I still need to complete a file with a Cleric's Ring. My lv. 99 file does not have one.

I got to level 43 on gs1, replayed twice (a detail run and a time-trial) and I have three seperate level 99 files on gs2. When I got to that point about two months ago I stopped.

I think it was about a month ago, I was bored and played first golden sun then lost age. The only thing I did was getting exp and raising levels.

Yeah, GSW would make a lot more sense if you finished the games. Platinum, you have three seperate lv. 99 files? That's incredible! Did you copy any of them or are they totally original?

They're all original SOT. I had a little head start from using the lv. 43 transfer data, but I've played all the way through 4 times with no maxing, and 4 times with maxing. (I had 3 clear data files for awhile there, that was so stupid)

I started The Lost Age awhile ago and completed it recently but I was only playing on and off. I was doing other things like trying to complete The Minish Cap ( which I did the other day! )

I don't feel the need to play the game anymore. There are still things I want to do on the game but I'm so tired of playing it over and over, I just don't want to pick it up anymore.

Answer: Turtle Islet Cave. You know the massively long hallway that leads to sentenel. Wonder birds are common there. Powerful fire psinergies, but low hp. Anyway, kill one with a mercury djinn and you'll get about 18,000 xp. I did one of my other files with other methods, (mostly anemos inner sanctum) and it took forever, maybe I'll look up the hours...

Hehe, so I did. <.< >.> I didn't think exp. had anything to do with maxing out. All my guys are lv. 99 and they can't gain any more levels but they haven't maxed out their stat margins. Is there anything extra I can do?

The last time I played was about...8 months ago when I played both games through one after the other. Playing for a few hours a day, it took me a few weeks. The first time I played The Lost Age, I would guess it took me a more than a year, during which time I would get frustrated and stop for months at a time.

Some stats are impossible to max out, unless you cheat and get like 30 stat-boosting items on every character. About the only stats I've maxed out are HP, attack, and sometimes agility.

OK, so I'm not alone. Anyways, I picked up GS2 yesterday and upped my levels on my cleric ring file from 40 to 48. I went to Yallam and got a Darksword first try from a Dark Matter. I seriously almost fainted. Last time I got one, it took two freakin days to get!

Well I am curently replaying TLA and I do understand why I loved it so much back then. This is still the best non-online 1 player RPG I think.

I agree fully. I tried Tales of Symphonia but after a while it got a bit boring and it didn't have the charm or character depth of GS.

Yeah I know. GS still is one of the best RPGs out here.
But it's kinda easy for me I think. I mean... I know all the secrets and such, but still it's a nice game.

It's hard the first time around but it doesn't take long to remember the puzzle answers the second, third, and fourth times.

Yeah kinda. I played through easy mode in 3 days.
I didn't even needed of weapons. I just could kill the King Scorpion in 3 physical attacks. I dunno but I just don't like to use Psynergy as my main weapon. Except for the one with low physical strenght like Mia and Sheba but they are not in my main party. I use Impact alot on Felix and Isaac and just kick thier asses with the Massamune (sp) and Sol Blade.

I liked taleTales of Symphonia but I agree that, in places, it gets a bit dull. However I think the same is true of Golden Sun that aren't as interesting like looking for the trident pieces in the Lost Age. I think that in both games the amount of good parts outweighs the bad. You just have to be patient at times.

That's fast, It might take me a couple of weeks even on easy mode.

I play golden sun 1 every once and a while just to kill the fusuin dragon then I turn it off and play gs2 everyday but I just go in battle arena and listen to music with head phones.

I beat golden sun like in 2001 and I beat gs2 in summer of last year but is gs2 I couldnt transfer data so I beat the game I didnt use clear data. I left mars lighthouse and got the summons that have a boss before exept dullahan I havent been able to transfer data it wont work for some reason.

hmm...about forever and a day ago. I mean last night. yeah, I won about 2,000 battles in the arena. phish, child's play <.< No but seriously, I need to replay that game. It's just kind of pointless considering the major bosses of both games I could fight in my sleep. "echo heal flash set shade" "bane heal set flash shade" honestly...it kills me because I want to stay interested in it, but it's so hard especially when I can recite dialogue.

I played about a month ago, been trying to level up my guys to a really high level so it's more worth my while if I transfer data. I also am planning on transferring data as soon as I'm satisfied so I can get Iris and Charon. I also want to add that these are the two best RPG's ever made for the GBA. And yeah it is kinda wierd being able to beat the game in like two seconds, the first time I beat it my guys at level 35, by the time I got to Venus lighthouse the second time, I was at level 21, since I've gone up to 45.

I picked it up this weekend for the first time in about eight months. I have been working on my second of two files, my Cleric's Ring file, with the characters at lv. 59. The other file is lv. 99 but I have no Cleric's Ring.

However after reading nick's ultimate setup, turns out I don't need a Cleric's Ring. Fancy that.
