I wish I could say here that Camelot has just announced the sequel to GS: TLA, but alas they still are quiet on the matter. IGN posted an article back in February (http://cube.ign.com/...8/588764p1.html) in which they noted the job advertisement on the Camelot website. Well, every week I check out the Camelot site hoping for an update, and I noticed that they have updated the job request page. Instead of the graphic of Mario about to hit a tennis ball, there is now a page advertising for a programmer.

Given the recent unveiling of the Nintendo Revolution controller (which amounts to unveiling the entire system itself), I think it would be a safe bet to say that Camelot's next game will be an RPG on the Revolution. Camelot already said they want to make an RPG game next, and the Revolution would provide a great platform for the innovative team over at Camelot. We can only hope that they announce something about their new game soon.

Please note that this is just my personal speculation and to be taken with a grain of salt. I will soon have an update here regarding the site redesign progress, which has already been set into motion. If anyone out there has any content or FAQs that they would like to submit to me, I'd be willing to consider putting them on the site (under the condition that I can reformat it into HTML). I already have one FAQ for the Ultimate Equipment page which will be a nice change from the almost random listing currently occupying that page. Also, I am still accepting design submissions, though the deadline will be Monday October 3rd.

Well, that's good news I guess. We can only hope it's a Golden Sun game though, but they did say that GS and TLA are just a prologue to the true adventure, so I think if they are making an RPG it will be GS3.

I'm sort of sorry Camelot makes all of these Mario Sports games. I mean, their so good and yet they can't fulfill their whole potential. Does anybody else know another original Camelot franchise except for Golden Sun? I think it's the only one they have... which is a real shame.

Thanks for the news. I've been waiting for some sort of sign that there would
be a new GS game, and here it is :P

:P Damn, you replied too fast I was fixing my errors!

But really, I hope that new RPG is a new Golden Sun. This is practically all we have to hold on now to... Hoping there's a new GS.

If it is a new GS that would be great, if it's not, so what? I'm sure that Camelot can make other great RPG's too. Anyhoo, good to hear from you Max and we all hope your speculation comes true.

It might be rather unlikely that it will be a Golden Sun 3, but there's always a chance. And one on the Revolution would be off the charts. Hope is really all we have now for a GS3. Hopefully, this will be the sequel to The Lost Age

Well, I hope that it will be a golden sun 3. And it probably won't be. Especially if they are waiting for the Revolution to come. Well, I will be hoping for it.

                    Thanks for telling us! :P

...and, what is the site for camelot?

                      Next time just Google it.

Nothing new in this post. Still speculations about a new GS, which have been going on for the past couple of years.

                      Ah. The famous line.

I think they are keepin quiet on it beacuse it might be GS3. Think about it. If they announced GS3 off the bat, they would be filled with e-mail till its done. And then some after.

Shadow the Hedgehog anyone? They didn't keep that hidden. And seems like a big move.
FYI, I will still kill for the game if it is a flop.
You'd think they would want to release what this is already. Its like ASKING for a spammed mail box they can't read. :P

well, I am glad that there is some hope left for a GS3, although I kinda hoped it would be on the GBA (as that's the only system I have)

They best hurry up with the annoucement because to tell you all the truth I am losing interest. :P I am looking for another RPG to play while school is fresh and easy before the work load comes in.

Anyways, if they do come out with a GS game it's not certain that they would make it into another GS game. I'll keep up my faith and hope for the best but I don't see it coming.

Well, yeah. Everyone at the GS board is asking for a new GS, but honestly we can't do anything to Camelot that will make them make a new GS came, only time can tell.

I hope it is as good as GS. Most games don't get as good as one of their originals, but, whatever they do is gonna be good.

Well, there are some good game companies that make different series that all turn out well. Capcom is one, they make some sweet adventure games with all sorts of different series.
