So anyway, now that my lecture is over and people are dying to say "I want to make the graphics!" "I want to make the hentai pics of Sami!" and so on, here's some things that we NEED people to volenteer on, the list may be updated if we need it to be, so check it on a semi-regular basis. We need...
+ TEMPLATE - Someone to make the website template. You've got a much higher chance of getting this very important and crucial task if you can show us your previous work. We want a site template/layout that not only looks functional, but IS functional. No errors on various browsers, no errors on anything unless it's very minor.
+ GRAPHICS - Well, it does need to look pretty. This only applies for graphics for the website template, not graphics for all the content etc. Basically, this is for the person who feels he is leet enough in graphics to make some great eyecandy site banners and such. You will be the color to the black & white template, you will be the final touch that makes the site shine or look like ****. Once again, much more of a chance to get accepted if you can show us your previous work.
+ CONTENT - This is an extremely open category, and we can have way more than 5 people signing up for this job. Infact, 80% of you should be in this category. This is for the guides, character bio's, and all sorts of information regarding the game which will make our fansite worth visiting. Remember, even if our site looks pretty, nobody's gonna visit a site with no content no matter how awesome it looks, it's like buying a Ferrari without wheels, you can stare but you can't take it for a spin.
+ OTHER - Anything else you want to help with, like the minor things? Fanart, Fanfics, these are extra's we can put in the site. If you have something to submit in this category, please state what it exactly is so we can consider it.
That's all for now. Choose well and don't waste my time or else I'll set your underwear on fire, while you're still wearing it. Biatch.

Well, as soon as I get a copy of AWDS on Christmas, anyway... so I guess I can't really apply for a position just yet. XD

If we want to be the best AW fansite, then all sections need to be as deep as possible, and that can't be done when everyone's trying to do everything. YOu also end up with 80% of the people fighting over one area, and then people start getting pissed if their version isn't as good as the next person's. I watched it happen over at Samus.co.uk. They're converting metroid prime into a 2D Metroid game, and everyone wanted to make the maps and sprites. So naturally, anarchy ensued and lots of people got hurt.
There is a moral to my story and that is: Plan, keep it organised, work together, and do the best you can with whatever section you get left with!

Also, AWDS is the newest game in the series, so people are more likely to want to get info on that.

I can do content, I just need to be told what area to do it on. I'll be back permanently by the 15th, so you know.

Also, I already told you I don't want to see "Probably", "Maybe" and "I might" in posts. There is NO "Maybe's" you're either doing it or you're not, don't bull**** me.

I'm pretty decent at all the jobs you requested. If it's possible, i'd like to just run around helping around every possible way but without overworking myself.
- Template/Graphics: I can say i'm farily good at this. I've done my share of layouts and i can say i've improved quite a lot in the past few years. Not that i have done much that's related to sites but i study art so i definitly understand colors and how to use them to create a good composition.
- Content: I've always loved to write content (However, for this, i'm still uncertain, i'll actually need some time to play Advanced Wars)
- Fan-stuff: I'm quit good with Fanart >.o
Also, may i suggest a position for screenshot takers? (for the GB games atleast) Content is never appealing with just words. Screenshots can give fans a clearer understanding of the content AND it makes the site look a lot more professional. It makes it look like your site has a lot of content (adding on as a bonus to the written content you already have).

The only drama here is getting screenshots to go with it. I can easily write a turn by turn guide that describes where each unit should go, but without screenshots to show everything, it'l be a pain for readers :\.
What we really need is a DS emulator <<.

If someone can provide me a good game save I can make maps for each stage in AW for the GBA versions. Well, I'll contribute really.
