yes, its true, I was inspired by yuki to publish (more or less) my poety. so here goes

    crazy

    I'm waiting here for you
as each ounce of hope is disconnected.
    I wonder what you're doing
as my tears show my image reflected.
    I think about you
as the glowing sun turns to the silver light.
    I dream about you
as I toss and turn through the restless night.
    I'm going crazy.

    You wait for me too
    as our hope is disconnected
do you wonder what i'm doing?
do your tears show your image reflected?
    do you think about me?
when the glowing sun turns to the silver night?
    do you dream about me?
or toss and turn through the restless night?
    are you going crazy?

    who is she?

I call you on your cell
you seem suprised to hear me.
You talk like all is well
and the words seem bright and cheery.
    then you speak her name
why do you talk about her so much?
will it all go down the same
and will you lose that "forever" love?
    do you still care?
    or is withdrawl kicking in?
    am I still there?
or is she filling my place within?
    you better figure it out.

It was good, but I can't stand that you added an O in, "lose," as most do.

Wow this topic is REALLY old. But never the less, I've got more poetry. I haven't done a poem in a really long time, and this one's just beginning, but I think It's turning out well.

It's really close to me, as it's about memories, and a few of you might know what I'm talking about in one of the stanza's (Penguin Sugar XD) I actually started it as I was singing to myself as I cooked dinner XD don't ask. So if you're wondering how it would sound in a song, think of Smashmouth's "All-star" song. Catch the fun and airy tune to that, and you'll get a good idea to how this would sound.

          Untitled

          I smile,
as I reach for another orange soda.
You and I know what it means, donchya?
I don't think those oranges are from Florida...

          Penguin sugar,
makes tears well up as if you wanna cry.
You say it makes you feel as if you're high
but we're not and it's only in our own minds.

          I think,
tonight I might have some mashed potatoes.
You say they make the hairs curl in your nose,
so we're not completely the same but who knows?

          and my wish,
my wish is secret so I don't want to say
It's a wish that I wish that it would just go away
but truly I still wish for yesterday

That may end there, or I might add more. I don't know. I was writing this when the phone rang, so I kinda stopped. There's more I know I can add (there's a LOT more I could add) but it'd just ramble. But meh, Poetry isn't really meant to be anything, y'know? Words and feelings in a big splotch of a post, really :D

Long time no update; I've done a lot more poetry, but this was the first digitally written one in a while. I started trying to write out how I was feeling, but it came out like a poem. XD

            Feel Free

How can I open my arms to life?
            Feeling so strangled, chained
through the steel, I see light
an angel visits me in this world
for a moment, I feel free
            beyond the monotonous work
            beyond the hills of grey
there is a bright world there
and she opens it all to me.
            I see myself running fast
            I see myself jumping trees
            I feel free.

For a second, I can smile
            The angel spreads her wings
            I see troubles
but my friends help me through
            I see pain
but there is a happiness in their eyes
            I see hurt
but they help my wounds heal
we hold power, but we protect.
we are strong, but we defend.
we can kill, but we love all.
when I stand on the hills
            And look over this world.
            I feel free.

            The bell rings.
The curtain draws to a close.
            The angel vanishes from me.
            Back to work, she whispers,
            and back to this world,
            with buildings of grey,
            smoke suffocating sunlight,
            and reading information.
            Just words without hearts;
            they lack a soul.

            How can I feel free?
            I ask you stars.
            How can one feel free,
            if they can never escape?
            Please don't let me stop.
            don't make me stay here.
Here, I must forget it all.
            I must conform,
            until I'm not anyone anymore.
I don't ever want to give up
            on feeling free.

So let me banish the chains
            that have banished me.
Let me put chains on chains
And grey out the grey world.
            Let me close my eyes
And open them to a new life.
            Let me exhale stale air
            And inhale new freshness
            Let me not feel strained.

            Let me feel free forever.
