Has anyone watched this show?
I've seen it and it's a great drama. If you want you can discuss it here. Don't post too many spoilers though, especially for my benefit because I'm only half way through the first season (on DVD) right now.

Man i love it! The 2nd season starts next week here, so excited! Although i must admit the only i tune/tuned in was to finally get answers, they delay everything. I love Sowyer(sp?) the hard ass guy.

It's excellent, but I'm not a really huge fan of the series. I watch it only if I accidentaly turn on the TV when it's showing. I can't even remember any of the character's names...

Finally somebody who actually watches network television! Season 2 is about halfway over here and I'm jumping in now. The first season is amazing and the second season is even better! I won't ruin anything but watch it when the second season starts because it only gets better.

I don't watch alot of TV, but ever since I started watching it (about 1/2 way through the 1st season) I havent missed an episode. After the first episode of the 2nd season the other night, I was left awe-struck. The twist! Holy Crap!

In Australia, it's up to the episode where they let the timer run out, but Locke enters the code right after some weird banging noises happen everywhere. You know, the one where Sayid beats the crap out of that guy. Good episode.

Oh yeah, about Prisonbreak. I only brought that up because it falls into the same catagory as Lost: a cool drama with an interesting situation which forms the basis of the whole series. Basically, this guy gets wrongly imprisoned for the murder of the President's brother, and his brother lands himself himself in jail to try and get him out of there before the execution. Brilliant stuff. SoT, you must watch it. It is better than Lost, trust me.

I couldn't sit through an episode of Prisonbreak. Mainly due to me missing the first episode, and that it doesn't sound very interesting. But I've heard that it's pretty good.

By the way, in the season finale, Locke lets the timer run down to zero. Weird stuff happens, but you'll just have to wait to find out what I mean.

I tried Prison Break but my heart can't handle two intense dramas at once. I prefer Lost.

With the Others becoming more weird with the addition of Jacob, and the apparent killing of Locke, it's really starting to lose me. I love Locke!

In all reason though, if they go into a fifth or sixth season, they're just taking up time because unless the island changes significantly, nobody will be watching.

It seems that only six people are going to get off the island, notably Jack and Hurley so far. Interesting how they've started doing flashforwards now that they've run out of character history. Only thing is the episode didn't seem very dramatic to me, compared to other season openings. I still love season 3 for the fish biscuit thing.

It was suggested in the flashforward for the last episode of series 3 that somebody was dead, when Jack went to a funeral. Must have been some from the island surely?

I was surprised at Hurley being the main character for the opening of the series. Isn't it always Jack?

I'm not a huge fan of that Miles guy. I think Lost needs another weird character as much as a kitchen needs a chocolate teapot. I like that guy who was piloting the helicopter, and I can put up with the guy who parachuted down first. As for Charolette, I'm not a fan of her accent, but she comes from Bromsgrove so I pretty much have to call her my favourite.

Ok, so the other day I'm at my friend's house, and she's watching Lost. She's watching the end of Season 3, so we watch the last 4 episodes, then the first 4 of season 4, and THEN we go back and watch the first disk of season 1, and let me tell you, I am fucking confused. Like, the flash forwards are getting weird, and yeah, this is a very confusing show. And even my friend, who's watched all the episodes so far, is confused about some of the shit they showed.

Like, this show is Donnie Darko weird. Fucking giant polar bears and a weird black cloud. What the hell is that?

Locke leaves the group because he doesn't trust the people on the ship, on account of Charlie discovering that the boat wasn't sent by Penny, therefore couldn't be here to rescue them. As for the polar bears, they were on the island because Dharma were trying to genetically modify them to survive in warmer climates, and some escaped after the events of the Purge, thus becoming wild.

In summary, you have to watch it from the beginning. :(

Each season of the show takes up a month. Chink is 4 monthes pregnant at the begining of season 4. She HAS her baby, and we can only assume she's off the island atleast 3 monthes before she does. Therefore, the show can only last another couple of seasons.

But actually, the flash-forward could change, or only a few people could have gotten off, her being one of them. Alot of things could happen.

And my guess on the ending is that everybody else that was on the plane ended up dieing. OR, since Locke has survived a gunshot wound before from Ben, maybe he survived getting strangled aswell.
