IThe end of the original LEGO Star Wars seemed to hint that there would be another game (somewhat vaguer than the end of the original Golden Sun) but man, here it is. Another game. I can't wait to pilot a LEGO version of the Millenium Falcon (sp?) and the X-Wing. Blow that piece of Death Star **** straight up LEGO Style. :P
And apparently, we can create our own custom characters by mixing up the bodies of characters unlocked. So you can mix up Luke and Darth Vader into one LEGO guy. (Darth Luke?) I can't wait to make gender confused characters LMAO. Leia's body with Han Solo's head. XDD

Looks like we'll be getting some Bloom effects for this game. :D If you don't know what a Bloom effect is, it's an effect that makes light-colored objects glow when light hits them. Look at Luke's shoulder and you'll see what I mean.

Check out the trailer; looks like it'll still have some of the humor that the original had. XP

I could live fine without the customizable characters, the thing I look forward to the most are the vehicles that you can hop into and hop out of, whenever you like. I thought we could do this in the original, and I was a bit disappointed that we couldn't.

A lot of fans say that the level included in the demo is very big, and very long. I hope that's true... and I hope my laptop can run it. :)

Has anyone downloaded the demo yet? If you have, would you tell me what it's like?
Oh, and this should be moved to general other games because it covers almost all platforms including PC.

I bought the game yesterday and it seems to live up to the hype. The missions are longer and more fun to play, plus it's the good triliogy man! Also the vehicle sections are so much better. It really makes it more fun.
One of the few bad points is the length. I only bought it yesterday but I've done episodes IV and V, and I could have done more, had I played it more. I guess there's unlockables to collect, but the main story should have more. It's also very similar to the original game, but that's to be expected and isn't a bad thing.

Like I said before this isn't only a PC game. Move it to to the generic gaming board you

Didn't know that. Still I'm reluctant to collect all of the collectables. It requires patience, which I don't have.
I like the idea of using characters from the original Lego Star Wars. It feels weird using Darth Maul in IV's first mission.

Have you heard of stud multipliers? They're expensive, but they pretty much pay for themselves once you get them.

The Dagobah level on V and the levels on Endor on VI are pretty dull to be honest. You buy Star Wars to be on spaceships, not go around some swamp or forest.
Probably the best levels are the ones in the Death Star (both Death Stars) are good and the levels set around the opening of VI. It's all good and I'd recommend it to anyone.
