An idea I got from a friend of mine, though I'm sure I'm not the first one to think of this. However, I'm pretty proud of it, as I think it turned out pretty well, if I do say so myself. I took the Cloud sprite from Kingdom Hearts: Chain Of Memories, and used a battle screenshot from Pokémon Sapphire.

I may make more if I find the time. enjoy.

I was recently thinking of making a screenshot exactly like that, but with two FF characters against each other and a list of moves such as 'Sin Harvest'.

Very nice attempt, but the quality lacks.

        Took me 5 minutes tops.

waddiya mean, "quality lacks"? I wanted it to look exactly like the pokémon game except with Cloud there instead of a pokémon (which is why I didn't bother changing the colour of the main character's clothes). I don't think the quality of mine is any worse than yours. Besides, mine took about 5 minutes, too. (sorry; I don't mean to sound defensive, but I don't understand exactly what you think needs improvement)

PS. I made another one. updated my original post.

I didn't meant to sound offensive either. But what I mean by quality is, there're like.. grainy pixels in it. Tons. Look at mine, it's all one color. o.o

Yeah, I have to admit that PDM's is better. He even used the LG/FR font, which looks much better than the R/S version, and remembered to put in the 'wild', which you failed to do.

The only thing I can say is wrong with it is that there's no shadow. o_O

Because in pokemon there is no shadow under-neath them.

And actually that's from R/S. I started a new file and named the first pokemon CLOUD and then took a screen of "What will CLOUD do?" with the cloud HP/LV/EXP bar on it. I took cloud and put it over "POOCHEYNA" and greened it out. Then I put the cloud user-bar on the poocheyna one. Then I combined the LV5 and LV3 together to make LV53.

That's all folks, 'cept, of course, the Cloud sprite part.

Of course Pokemon have shadows! You must be using a faulty emulator.

                  [EDIT] Oh wait, you're right.

I didn't want to use the LG/FR font. the screenshot is from R/S. And actually, leaving out the "wild" was a concious decision, though I forget why I didn't want to include it. As for the shadow, the floating ones (geodude, magnemite, etc.) do have a shadow. though cloud is not floating, I still prefer the shadow.

I'll try to do something about the grainy pixels. it's just that when you use the magic wand in photoshop, it makes the pixels around the edge slightly transparent.

The magic wand has nothing to do with it, I can tell you that much. =(

Exactly. It never does that for me. Don't mock the wand.

                          Well thar's your problem.

                          .GIF ftw.

But it's pretty good. Should try adding attack sprites as well. e.g "Cloud used water gun"

You should make another. But with the Doom Dragon, or Mario or something.
