    ...that maybe, just maybe, the Common Room is starting to get a bit on the spammy side?

    Maybe I just need a refresher here. Was the whole point of the common room to eliminate spam altogether or just to enforce topicality on the spam forum?

        I think we need to suspend them and see if things improve. phantom was a good member and I think he shouldn't have left because of some members behaviour.

          ...that moderators are supposed to be watching the forum. And if they don't stop, just put them on mod preview. That should give them the idea.

              The spaming in the Common Room doesn't bother me at all. Actually, I find it quite interesting to read Split's and Toasty's posts! But who am I to decide what we should do... If the mods think they're going over-board, than I guess something must be done.

                But they are completely off-topic in the topics they post in. The spam they put belongs in TRT.

                  The Common Room used to be called the Spam Forum, but we changed the name because it was getting out of hand. We can try to enforce it more, but we don't want to over-enforce it so as to much it less fun. Remember people, use the report button to helps us moderate and keep this place enjoyable for all.

                    Yes. The Common Room is a large place. I rarely check any not to mention all topics there so you need to report posts or topics that you think don't belong there.

                          I read all your reports, don't worry about that. Some are actually useful, I can't remember them specifically... but some are useless at times.

                          Anyway, I think we can say the Common Room is getting normal once again. Topic closed.
