Yes, you heard it here first!

Recently, members have been alerting me and the staff of the excessive spam topics and posts in the Common Room.
While I do not check every single topic in there everyday, I do check it often and I have noticed an increase in spammy like posts and/or topics.

I remind you, the Common Room is a place where you are free to talk about whatever you and it is moderated less than the rest of the forum but this does not excuse members from making random posts and totally blantant spam in topics. Your posts must have topicality inside a topic, but you may make topics about whatever you want.

To reiterate, you may make topics and posts about whatever you want (as long as you abide by the rules) but you may not make an off-topic post within a topic. This is not only annoying to the members who are posting in the flow of the conversation, but it's just plain stupid.

Thank you and if you see a spam post, just REPORT IT, please.
