So here's the question, Does the DS have some sort of Region thingy, Like the xbox had?
Liiike.. I bought my DS in Australia, will it play a game that I buy in America-land?
Thanks,

ANYWAY. Considering that Australia (Crikey!) speaks pretty much the same language as Britian (Bloody hell!), United States (Duuuude.), and Canada (****in' eh?) I imagine it should work just fine.
I think that, actually, the DS would play all games from all regions. You can set your personal language on the DS, right? So I don't think there's a difference in the way the DS performs depending on where it was bought.

For sale and use in Australia and New Zealand only.
What's that mean?!
Can you check the back of one of your cases? It's just underneath the "WARRANTY: Warranty Provided" Sign, on the back...

I checked the Warranty in the back of the Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time manual and it said that the warranty for my game was only valid in the United States and Canada, so maybe that's what they mean.

FOR SALE, RENTAL AND USE ONLY IN USA, CANADA, MEXICO AND LATIN AMERICA
I don't know what they mean by "for use only in the continent of America". Maybe someone of higher intelligence can figure it out. :P

And with the warranty thing: If you buy a DS in say Asia, then bring it to the US, the US nintendo company will not replace your DS if it is broken when you bought it. You would have to travel back to Asia and get the replacement thing there.

You however get to buy a copy this week. I hate you <<.
Also, nintendo handhelds are never region coded. With the consoles you unfortunately get the problem of PAL and NTSC =\. A freeloader or modded console will fix that problem for you though.

The bit that said "But you get a copy this week"..
And I'm going to the US at the end of April.
oh sorry. I swear you said somewhere you were going in a week or something. Or are you going for a week? ><
MP:H looks like alot of fun. Everyone complains about the controls but they can't be any worse than the demo, and I really like the demo ^_^.

But I haven't ever really played alot of Metroid. I just didn't really like the game. But like I said, I might get MP:H for the DS. I have a friend who's crazy about the games.
