Good to see we finnaly have reulex (there's a hell of a lot though!). I think instead of like 19 or so little rules, you could have just made about 5 or 6 main ones that cover the little ones. Still good to see the rules though.

Bastard is hardly a swear word when it is isn't used in a profain way.
Besides, we're all old enough to tell the difference, right?

Actually, the more specific, the better I feel. I agree with Neo Genesis, this is defintely an improvement for the Forum.
Great Job Max!

That's what it means. It can be used as a profain word though. I did not use it as one.

Anyway, I have a question... one of the new rules is "No Unnecessary Bumping Up of Topics, which is considered Spam" (paraphrasing...)
so, is it ok if you decide to post in an old topic just because... well, you're interested in it? I mean...
I can't really explain it. But, put it this way: What defines "Unnecessary" in this case?
Sorry, but I would really just like to make sure...

Don't just bring it up with a pointless post (EX) "I like this game"
That isn't needed.

Yeah, I was about to post that same question. But yeah, I agree with nick, if it's due to the topic, then yes.

Max and the moderators should be nowhere near as leanient as they are now that the rules are in EVERY forum. I see users all the time getting off with just a verbal warning. They should get at least the minumum warning rather that just a verbal one.

I warned quite a few people who broke the rules, I just don't tell them. Hey, that reminds me, I gotta go lower their warning levels.
And... I don't know what to say. At least I'll have more respect (with the new rules).

I am really really sorry...
Anyway, thanks for clarifying that...

Hey, he's just another ****-a-manie (sp?) brat that comes here not too often. Heck, I'm annoyed by those kinds of crappy people who think they're better than every last person this Earth allows to live.
But anyway, you shouldn't be sorry if you didn't allow him to. He did it all on his own, mindless and hapless. Hey, he shouldn't be your "accomplice" (sp?) nor friend if you know what's good for the Forums ...
But that's just lil' ol' me talking.
And another thing; new rules could be more effective if you let them go for a while. I mean, sure you should enforce them, but let others get to see 'em first before you start enforcing. Just saying ...

Yeah, letting people go for a little bit is ok I guess. Like little verbal warnings everyonce and awhile. But, getting out of hand will need appropriate action.

Well that is, above all, the best thing to do than write down all of the rules in one post. Like those Liscence and Terms Agreement stuff when you first register; people are bound to skip all of that and risk their eyes of possible strain, but some do follow them thoroughly.
