Now, before I start ranting on how much I love these games and post strategies that I've found, I want to make sure of one thing.

Has anybody played this game, or better yet, own it? Or at least heard of it? I know that you people aren't much into computer gaming but I hope you at least have played this one... -_-

I have heard of it, it's hard to miss a game like this when you have G4. The game looks fun, but real-time strategy is really boring to me. I like my games fast-paced.

This game was great. I want to try Black & White 2, but I don't have the cash for that just yet. Looks beautiful, though.

There's a demo for BW2, ofcourse. It's good fun; it improved a lot of things. (villagers are much less picky!)

YOU are god, your creature battles other god's animals and you can use it to punish or to convert people.

I've played this game from the start twice, both with the tiger, most recently about 3 months ago. I've never finished it, WD, if you know how it ends could you post it in white please?

              Very good game.

I'm still playing the original. I had it a long time ago (I think I was nine or ten years old) but my computer wasn't up to spec; it kept crashing so I just quit playing it. I download BW2's demo a while ago and got back into it, so I decided that I ought to play the original again. =P

By the way, when the Tiger is Good, does he turn blue-ish? Or is that just the bruises he received from being struck by lightning/fireballs one too many times?

I wasn't aware he could change colour...

I know that he turns charcoal when he gets burned and your temple changes black or white depending on what type of god you are. I loved throwing boulders and junk into towns where you don't have any influence.

Your creature gets scars and things from battle. My creature has a scar on his tummy and he's blue-ish purple-ish from lightning I think. He actually looks kinda cool this way, though. -_-

Speaking of boulders, I made an avalance along a ridge on a mountain by repeatedly tapping the large rocks at the top of the ridge. The result was a massive pile of rubble that went all the way down the course of the ridge. (and a broken miracle dispenser ;)) I got the smart idea to light one end of the rubble on fire. This is the result:

Anyway, that fire was amazing. It was like, I couldn't put it out! The only thing that made it go away was just letting it sit there and wait for time to put it out. :o

                          Okay, I've finished B&W, watch.

                          [Spoilers Ahead!]

So, on the last land, when you conquer all of Nemesis' villages, Nemesis will challenge you to a battle between your creature and his creature. He turns the creature into the opposite of your creature, so if you have a Good Cow, he'll turn his creature into an Evil Cow. When you beat his creature, he threatens you, saying he will return stronger than ever. So your Good conscious will say that you can get the last Creed from inside your creature, so that Nemesis will have no where to hide. If you guide your creature to a volcano-vortex thingy on the land, he'll jump into the volcano, a cutscene plays where your creature is falling, and you get the last Creed. You see Nemesis' Temple blow up. Then your conscious will exclaim how Nemesis is gone and you're the last God, your creature returns, you then heal him, and then the credits roll by.

                          [/Spoilers]

Yeah, the ending's a bit weak; but after that, you're left to do whatever the hell you want with the last land. -_-

I'm going to try out the expansion, Creature Isle, now.

He was going to one of the rocks which I placed down with my Godly powers. When you place a rock next to a village building, it's marked as an artifact which villagers will dance around, which helps them to believe in you. Apparently, the Miracle Dispenser near the area that the fire was counted as a building.

It certainly does look interesting, although I'm a bit skeptical about it not being developed by Lionhead...

Too bad Lionhead was bought by Microsoft. =X
