Anyway, just post links to reviews on the game, and add any personal feedback. And besides FD28 (i think he has), who else here got to go to E3?

I was thrilled to see this game. When every E3 comes I pray to God for Ninty to show THE Mario 128, the successor to Super Mario 64, one of the most revolutionary games ever! They kept promising it'll be something special, spectacular... And they failed.
Yes, the game's graphics look gorgeous if you ask me(though I really don't give a damn about the graphics). And yes, the game looks very fun, what with all the super high jumping and stuff. But I expected this to be something new, something no one could come up with even with the Wiimote.
Oh, and one more thing. This ISN'T gonna be a launch title. Nintendo said so. Metroid Prime: Corruption, Zelda: Twilight Princess, Excite Truck, Project H.A.M.M.E.R. and some others will be... But SMG won't.
All in all, bit of a dissapointment.

I don't think we can say the game is a disappointment until we see the game on store shelves.

Get your facts straight, and stop being one of those annoying people that year after year keep crying over a system demo that Myamoto himself has said is not currently being worked on in any form.
Also, apparently SMG was /the/ game of the show for many people who attended and know what they're talking about. I thoght it looked pretty **** at first, and had a crap name, but then I learnt that everyone loves it and that the name is only temporary.
Also, the graphics are pretty damn nice.

I just find it frustrating that everyone has such huge expectations for a Mario 128 when it's quite obvious nothing is being done with it =\.

Shigeru Miyamoto HAS been making(or at least planning on making) Mario 128 for the past 5(possibly more) years, as shown on Wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Mario_1...st_real_details
In the end, Mario 128 DID turn out to be SMG and I knew that the moment I saw SMG. Please read the whole text to see that I'm right.

SMG appears to be a pretty interesting, more unique concept, so I assume this game came from the Mario 128 brainstorming :P.

Seriously, when I told you to get your facts straight I was reffering to you calling SM128 the true sequel to SM64. 128 was nothing like 64, it was obviously a concept demo. Sunshine, which is much more like SM64, is a more obvious sequel.
There is no need for me to get on my knees and pleed for forgiveness or prove you wrong. I already assumed you were correct when I made my last post.

Now lets talk about gameplay. How will the Wii-mote be utalized? NO MORE FLAMMING, BOTH OF YOU.

The Wiimote will be used to make some crazy jumps and acrobatic moves. Mario has always been famous for that and this game will make his jumping abilities even greater! What with him being in space and everything...

By the way, for the record, I love the name Super Mario Galaxy, I think it's a great name for this game.

[EDIT] I went to play the movie, but it wouldn't play. I kept clicking the play button, but it just didn't do anything. I guess I'll have to try later.
