Well, it's official. Hideo Kojima has recently announced that this will be the last Metal Gear game he will work on. That doesn't mean the series is over, it just means this will most likely be the last good game in the series.

So any thoughts on this beautiful game for the PS3? It's one of the most anticipated titles, and Snake is OLD!

This makes me wonder why the heck Kojima begged for having Snake in SSBB... Anyways it will suck for the fans that this is gonna be the last good Metal Gear game.

As for SSBB, Kojima wanted that since the beginning, Nintendo is just finally answering the call. Kudos to Nintendo for that.

I'm looking forward to this game BUT I'm not into it that much. When it's about to be released I'll check into it. I have to admit though that the graphics look stunning, like any other PS3 game I might add D:... BUT, right now I'm more interested in games I can actually play.

Has anyone seen the full 15 minute trailer? It makes the normal one look like a tiny little teaser, I swear after I saw the 15 minute full trailer I was so hyper that I was jumping all over the room. I mean that scene in the trailer where Raiden is slicing the crap out of those Mechs one by one? ****ing perfection.

I love you Hideo, for bringing me Z.O.E... Oh and MGS as well.

I think they're just gonna take everything that was awesome about the first three and roll it into the best grande finale we have seen in a long time.

As for the game, I'm hoping they stick with the over the shoulder controls that were featured in MGS3: Sustinance (sp?) It really improved the gameplay and can we please be able to move while in first person!

Does anyone else believe that Snake finally dies in this game, and Raiden now takes over the MGS series? I mean let's look at the proof; Snake is trying to blow his ass off in the final scene of the trailer, and Raiden has now transformed from a pussy to a full-fledged-bad-ass-ninja-rapist thing.

That would be pretty awesome, because Raiden looks like such a badass in the trailer. He would make an awesome main character.

raiden might be a side character in Guns of Patriots or might just be in the FMV's. Hideo Kojima should make a movie, directed by him and ONLY him

anyways, Snake is dying, cuz when he was created from that project, Liquid, Solidus and Solid snake were created from Big Boss's cells, and all three had accelarated aging. In the trailer hes seen to be killing himself. but in an interview Kjima never metioned anyrthing about it. So i dont knmow if snake will die or not.

Well, obviously he's not going to mention it. I mean I'd be surprised if Kojima stated in his interview that "Snake kills himself in this game. I just spoiled a huge part of the story for you all. Hah, fools." right?

All True, but then why would Kojima include it in the trailer then. I guess that kinda gives it away as well.

Why would Kojima include it in the trailer? Do you know nothing of hype and curiosity? You're answering the question you just asked yourself, by sitting there and asking it.

"Why would Hideo Kojima put a scene in the trailer where Snake is about to shoot his f*cking ass off with a pistol?" and then the questions begin pouring in; "Huh, does Snake finally die in this one?! No, but if Snake does who takes over, not that sissy Raiden, surely! But then, if Snake is dead it won't be called Metal Gear SOLID anymore, will it become Metal Gear Raiden?! I hope the game comes out now, I really need some answers!".

That's why, because it makes you crave to play the game all the more. It's an age-old tactic used in advertisement to do something un-expected in your trailer in order to surprise the fans, and get them hyped up. Now, even if Snake wasn't in the trailer trying to kill himself, it could have happened in the game. But then again, since everyone saw how old Snake had become, they would have guessed already that Snake would die in the game. But nobody was expecting to see him die by his own hand... Commit suicide, and on the trailer, too. That is why it's there, because we weren't expecting to see it, and by seeing it we feel this is a finale or the closest thing to a finale in the MGS universe when it comes to Solid Snake.
