So, I went through the Mogell Forest an over to Xian before I got the Orb of force. (I Think) because now I am in Xian and I do not have the orb. I went back to Mogell forest and now the log that I pushed to get over in the first place is back in its original position and I went east and going through there is just a repeating forest.....
How the heck do I get back so I can get that stupid orb?

There is indeed no way to get backwards through Mogall. You'll have to circle back around (through Goma cave I think) to get there.

Youch. It's impossible to go back through Mogall once you've gone through it to Xian. I beleive the only way back is through the Lamakan Desert.
First, Go northwest of Xian, following the dirt trail, until you come across the Alpine Crossing. It should look like this:

Enter in west. If you are unable to pass, I'm not sure what the heck to do. North goes to the waterlogged town of Altin, and west goes to Lama Temple, where Master Hama will prepare ou for the only way out: The Lamakan Desert. From there, you have to carry on with the game until you do get back to the Vault area. It's painful, I know.

Actually, it's not that bad. You don't need force for the rest of this game. All you really need it for is to get Shine and the Masamune in TLA.

The fancy log-knocking over thing in Xian is a sidequest. You don't need to do it, although it is kind of cool and I believe it triggers a golden item event in TLA.

Actually i think if you need to knock that log over to get into that sactum at the bottom of the mine so you can get the lift gem to get out, but you might be talking about something different.

ya i read about that which is kinda funny i should just probaly try that some time instead of getting the orb. (Of corse i will get the artic blade and the djinn in the falls first :( )
