That's right, seven.

To say that Ubisoft is confident in Nintendo is an understatement. Look at the titles, Far Cry, Blazing Angels, Red Steels, two racing games, and Ubisoft even promises a Prince of Persia title for next year.
Pretty cool, eh?

It's nice to see that Nintendo is getting lotsa love from the 3rd parties.
Let's hope they don't screw it up though, because if the Wii does bad at launch, Nintendo may never get such great 3rd-party support again. Just saying.
One thing I'm worried about with the Wii, is that 3rd-party developers will just "tack on" the motion-sensing features. It's basically half-baked.

Good to see Rayman on the list! I really like the games and I used to be a big fan of the series. Not as much now though.
Seven games then. As GL said, they're really showing their confidence in the system.

Finally! Nintendo is getting good games! Not only that, but this means that there's going to be quite a lot of launch titles. At least ten or more.

It is said there will be at least 20 or more launch titles. These 17 games are confirmed for launch:
Zelda: Twilight Princess
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
Wii Sports
Red Steel
Rayman Raving Rabbids
Far Cry
Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII
GT Pro Series
Monster 4X4 World Circuit
Open Season
Dragon Quest Swords
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers
Call of Duty 3
Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz
Trauma Center: Second Opinion
Metal Slug Anthology
These 10 might be launch titles:
Excite Truck
Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam
Avatar: The Lost Airbender
Cars
SpongeBob SquarePants
Elebits
Blitz: The League
Need for Speed: Carbon
Madden NFL O7
Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2
Excelent lineup. I'm very glad Ubisoft has taken to the Wii. If they manage to make a lot of money off their games, then 3rd parties will probably flock to the Wii.

Out of those, Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam, Avatar: The Lost Airbender, Cars, SpongeBob SquarePants, and Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 don't seem like very good launch titles. Usually games made after a cartoon or animated movie like Cars or SpongeBob don't tend to be outstanding games. But I look foreward to NFS: Carbon. I've always liked the Need For Speed series. :P

Isn't it Avatar: The Last Airbender?
Or did they just change it for the game?

I absolutely love that show. :P
And it should be exactly like the title of the show. Avatar: The Last Airbender.

I think they actually changed the name, but I've never watched the show so I can't know now, can I? :P

It's probably just a typo. I've caught a glimpse of the show, but never acrually watched it. I think, though, a Wii game might make things interesting, Wii being what Wii are. (Sorry, terrible pun.)
