    This game = the win. I thought it would get a bit boring with the text heaviness, but I actually enjoy it. It's actually a bit difficult to find discrepencies in a persons story.

This likely won't be touched for another year when my tastes have completely changed.<br />

      I'm considering getting this game, but do you need to play the first one to get the full effect of it?

          Phoenix Wright? WTF. that game is so d*** lame. not to slam it or anything but most of thhe gamer mags i've read gave it very low scores, like a 2 out of 10

            The only thing I dislike about this game is that all of them are MURDER CASES! grr! =.=; They need a better imagination. I swear. ¬¬

              Sorry, I have to do that every time this game is mentioned because it increases your sperm count. Seriously though, this is a damn good game and one of the first Nintendo DS titles that earned the portable system some respect. There's already a fifth sequel under development for the Nintendo Wii, looks like they're going to suck this franchise for all it's got before the hype dies down.

                This game got many bad reviews in the mags i read, so i never really wanted to play it. even if i had a DS.

                  The game has an 82% average review score ratio, I'm not sure which magazines you read but I don't think the My Little Pony magazine covers Nintendo DS games.

                    EGM, GamePro, and Game Informer all gave it low scores. NP is the only mag that gave it a good score.

                      No... Hyper gave a favourable verdict as well, and it's one of Australia's top gaming magazines.

                                  No, though there is a case that ties in with the last game, you didn't need to know anything about it for you to just go with it.

                                    It might be nice to get the first one before hand; although the mechanics are pretty much the same, some character relationships aren't the same without getting the first game first. Not to mention that the first game is so kickass, I wouldn't see why you wouldn't get it.

                                    I love Phoenix Wright dearly. It's rather great that the third game is coming out in September. :P
