Ultimate Setup For Level 99
#1

Ultimate Equipment
NOTE: WORKS BEST FOR LEVEL 99 Setups.
Isaac
Class: Master
Weapon: Sol Blade
Head: Mythril Helm
Shield: Riot Gloves
Chest: Valkyrie mail
Undershirt: Mythril Shirt
Boots: Hyper Boots
Ring: Any
This will give Isaac a 97% unleash rate with the Sol Blade. You agility wil be off the scale and you will be almost unstoppable with a nice healer in the mix.
Jenna
Class: Paladin
Weapon: Tisiphone Edge
Head: Psychic Circlet
Shield: Riot Gloves
Chest: Mythril Clothes
Undershirt: Running Shirt
Boots: Hyper Boots
Ring: Any
Jenna will be able to deal damage as well as heal. Her unleash percentage (84%) isn't as high as Isaac or Felix but she will still be able to unleash enough to make a difference.
Mia
Class: Angel
Weapon: Lachesis' Rule
Head: Pure Circlet
Shield: Clear Bracelet
Chest: Iris Robe/Triton's Ward
Undershirt: Golden Shirt/Running Shirt
Boots: Golden Boots/Quick Boots
Ring: Any
Mia's class is different than what most people would choose. I chose Angel since that is the class with the highest water power. With the addition of the CB and PC, Mia's water power should be 150+. This will let Mia heal about 750+ with one Pure Wish. Add in the PP recovery of the Iris Robe and you have one super healer. She lacks the ability to revive, but Piers can do that.
Piers
Class: Necromage
Weapon: Dark Sword/Excalibur
Head: Fear Helm
Shield: Cosmos Shield
Chest: Xylion Armor
Undershirt: Running Shirt
Boots: Quick Boots
Ring: Cleric's Ring
If Piers attack isn't at 999, it will be with this setup. I chose the Cosmos Shield to resist the elements as well as super defense. Attack with Call Dullahan or your Excalibur (If you chose it) to deal damage.
Garet
Class: Ronin
Weapon: Excalibur
Head: Mythril Helm
Shield: Riot Gloves
Chest: Mythril Clothes
Undershirt: Running Shirt
Boots: Hyper Boots
Ring: Any
Garet as a Ronin is very nice. Great defense, but the speed is an issue. I compensated by adding in the Running Shirt. An 84% unleash isn't too bad since he has nice psynergy that can be delt out to increase stats, or nice EPAs.
Felix
Class: Master
Weapon: Excalibur
Head: Mythril Helm
Shield: Riot Gloves
Chest: Mythril Clothes
Undershirt: Mythril Shirt
Boots: Hyper Boots
Ring: Any
Comment: This will give Felix a 94% unleash rate. He gets a Jupiter Boost for being a Master and is quick to deal that damage before your enemy can recover.
Ivan
Class: Ninja
Weapon: Tisiphone Edge
Head: Berserker Band
Shield: Riot Gloves
Chest: Aeolian Cassock
Undershirt: Mythril Shirt
Boots: Hyper Boots
Ring: Any
Ivan isn't an ultimate fighter, but he can do the job with his nice speed and max attack (999). He won't be your first choice but you'll be glad to have him dishing out damage while you recover.
Sheba
Class: White Mage
Weapon: Lachesis' Rule
Head: Psychic Circlet
Shield: Jester Armlet
Chest: Mysterious Robe
Undershirt: Mythril/Silk Shirt
Boots: Fur Boots
Ring: Any
The PP+ 30 and the PP regen +12 will be great for this White Mage. Has the ability to heal and revive whenever needed and is quick enough to do it.
*The above setup was created by me.

Anyways, I have worked a lot with class setups and equipment and this works very, very well at level 99. Max stats, and max damage in most cases.

Dawg, plz, this? i like how you got them critical stuff, but I'd have to say, it dudnt work as well as THIS: "I have tried & mastered your setting already"
NOTE: This team is an advance,upgraded, and fixed version of John Q's "me" team that I submitted at GSS. So dont say i copied of him, cuz thats me.
Team One
Isaac: Choas Lord
Sol Blade
Mythril/ Warrior "Slight Sol Blade Boost" Helm
Riot Gloves
Valkyrie Mail
Running Shirt
Stardust Ring
Hyper Boots
An ultimate offencive and defensive. stats go skyrocket, and you have the ability to bring back the dead. Unleash rate has a godly 98% chance "im guessing". Gives you the ability to cause 1300+ damger per Issac's turn.
Felix: Chaos Lord
Exaclibur
Mythril Helm
Riot Gloves
Enrymes Tunic
Stardust Ring
Runnign Shirt
Hyper Boots
[it]Same as isaac, excapt doubles your offencive advantage. less liekly to do 1300+ damge due to exaclibur
Jenna: Radiant
Tisiphone Edge
Demon Circlet "cursed"
Riot Gloves
Iris Robe
Golden Shirt
Hyper Boots
Stardust Ring
Offencive, and defensive. high unleash rate, high healing advantage. high PP recovery.
Mia: Pure Mage [can be switch with piers]
Lachesis Rule
Psychic Circlet
Riot Gloves
Mysterious Robe
Stardust Ring
Quick boots
Pure master of healing. PP revory rate is pass 25, enabling for you to have an iffinate freedom of pure wish. Good for long term battles. Critical rate is not important. She wont be doing much damage anwyas. Ability to revive the dead./
The switch team:
Garet: luminer/War adept if Sheba Sage
Exaclibur
Mythril Helm
Riot Gloves
Mythril Clothes
Stardust Ring
Mythril Shirt
Hyper Boots
Same as felix offencively, except it adds another wonderfull set of healers to your group, incase one is down. if war adept, your just offence :P
Ivan: Pure Mage
Tisiphone Edge
Psychic Circlet
Riot Gloves
Mythril Clothes
mythril shirt
Stardust Ring
Hyper Boots
An extra healer in the team. Slight offencive use. high critical rate liek all offencives in the team. Ability to revive the dead.
Sheba: Dark Mage "thomeglaicon"/Sage
Lachesis Rule
Psychic Circlet
Riot Gloves
Mythril Shirt
Star Dust Ring
Hyper Boots
For the dark mage, it bring a last resort revier.You can use as much dijinni as you want with EVER losing the REVIVE psyenergy. Also, keeps you form losing the revive ability when dijinni storm is used. everyone else is supposubly unbeatable, you dont really need her help. As for sage, adds another great addition of healers. Still, the fact that otehrs are still better, overrules.
Piers: Pure Mage "can be switch with Mia"
Exaclibur
Mythril helm
Riot Gloves
Mythril Clothes
mythril Shirt
Stardust Ring
Hyper Boots
Offence same as felix. Addss anotehr reviver and healer.
In short:
-5 healrs
-5 reviers
-6 offencives "very strong"
-all strong defncive
-Offencive psyenergy NOT needed
-SUMMONS NOT NEEDED "stil, can whop @$$ if yu choose too. Summon Iris twice in a few turns will be a peice of cake"
I made this due to a challenge someone gave me. Beat dullhan in battle arena at lv 99, with no summons or usage of water of lifes. And no offencive psyenergies. Apperantly, I accepted and accomplished the challange, and ressulted this setting. i have never lost a match in vs, after 164 fights. Undefeated.
Some of the attack power may not be as great as 920 for a few, but their ciritcal rate makes up for that. And criticals are far mor effective than just attack.
The problem with your team, is that there is an imbalance of Offence, and Defence. And you have to many low level class setings like ninja and white mage. Which is like two, but thats alot.
Take a look ^ uniqeness.
No one else has come up with soemthing simmilar. And i came up withj this before i had interenet, so dont be sayin i copied you or nothing.
BTW no offence if i said anything offencive.
Qutoe:
I understand that. Hence "you might consider".
Anyways, I have worked a lot with class setups and equipment and this works very, very well at level 99. Max stats, and max damage in most cases.
its time to try something new for a change.

Can't argue here. Same as my Isaac. 97% unleash rate, not 98%.I prefer Master because it's quicker than a CL. Whatever.
Felix: Chaos Lord
Exaclibur
Mythril Helm
Riot Gloves
Enrymes Tunic
Stardust Ring
Runnign Shirt
Hyper Boots
Same as isaac, excapt doubles your offencive advantage. less liekly to do 1300+ damge due to exaclibur
If you're going CL, why not use the Tisiphone Edge. It will get a slightly better Venus boost. Not that it matters. Fine here.
Jenna: Radiant
Tisiphone Edge
Demon Circlet "cursed"
Riot Gloves
Iris Robe
Golden Shirt
Hyper Boots
Stardust Ring
Offencive, and defensive. high unleash rate, high healing advantage. high PP recovery.
At level 99 Jenna should be 900+ attack with just the Tisiphone Edge. Why bother making her a Radiant, PLUS having a Cursed Demon circlet with NO CLERIC'S RING!? I'll take a nice balanced Paldin.
Ability to revive the dead.
I have to admit. The healing power of a Pure Mage can't be beat, except in the case of an Angel with Mercury Power boosting eqiupment. Your Pure Mage heals maybe 450HP/Pure Wish. My Angel heals 800. I have to heal less and I only need one healer where you have two. My Mia can do the same job as your Pure Mage with the except of a revive. But then again, at 800HP recovered per turn, who needs to revive.
The switch team:
Garet: luminer/War adept if Sheba Sage
Exaclibur
Mythril Helm
Riot Gloves
Mythril Clothes
Stardust Ring
Mythril Shirt
Hyper Boots
Same as felix offencively, except it adds another wonderfull set of healers to your group, incase one is down. if war adept, your just offence
By making Sheba a Sage, you would have a "low level class setings" as you said. A Sage is worse than a White Mage. I really don't understand why Garet is a try-hard healer with Unleash boosting equipment. The class isn't really great for either category either. Try again.
Ivan: Pure Mage
Tisiphone Edge
Psychic Circlet
Riot Gloves
Mythril Clothes
mythril shirt
Stardust Ring
Hyper Boots
An extra healer in the team. Slight offencive use. high critical rate liek all offencives in the team. Ability to revive the dead.
Since Ivan can only heal 400HP/Pure Wish, you are going to run out of PP quick (in a prolonged battle of couse). Especially since you will probably be healing almost every turn. Why add critical boosting equipment to him. His attack will probably be in the high 800's not even enough to do over 1100HP of damage. Next!
Sheba: Dark Mage "thomeglaicon"/Sage
Lachesis Rule
Psychic Circlet
Riot Gloves
Mythril Shirt
Star Dust Ring
Hyper Boots
For the dark mage, it bring a last resort revier.You can use as much dijinni as you want with EVER losing the REVIVE psyenergy. Still, the fact that otehrs are still better, overrules.
Here is the example of the "low level class setings" you spoke of. I don't care if she will retain revive. Her stats are CRAP even at level 99. No attack, no defense, no luck, no speed. You are basically a water of life able to switch out. NEXT!
Piers: Pure Mage "can be switch with Mia"
Exaclibur
Mythril helm
Riot Gloves
Mythril Clothes
mythril Shirt
Stardust Ring
Hyper Boots
Offence same as felix. Addss anotehr reviver and healer.
How is the offense the same as Felix. You attack will be high 900's which is fine, but you claim him to be a healer (which he is), but he is CRAPPY at it.
In conclusion, in each team you have posted, you will have 2-3 people healing (2 per turn for sure if you want to win) and 1 person attacking every turn.
You lack in offensive and having good classes. Where you have 2-3 healing, I have 1-2, thus allowing me to deal more damage.
I don't care about records and whatnot. I play no djinn, no summons, psynergy attacking, and items only. If you play different, your classes couold go to hell and just summon rush.
Try putting your team against my team. And BTW, about my "low level class settings," at level 99, a White Mage and Ninja are actually decent due to the characters having max stats already. A Dark Mage (Black Book) is crap no matter what.

Thank you for reading.
Your missing the point.
My tema IS an offence. What you see there is a perfect balnce of defense and offence. Stats, mixed with equipment.
About dealing more damage. Your looking at attack power, not potenual. 999 attack compare to 900 isnt so great of a difference sicne their both massivly high. And as for the two chaos lords, their enough of an offence.
Liek u said about the low level clasess. Its all due to the high lv stats. If what you say is true, then YOU SHOULD NOT go agaisnt me saying the possiblilites of more damage. And even if you do more damge, you wont be able to kill me due to all the healing, AND the reviving. You need to make use of whatever you have. An ineffective attempted rush would cost you a battle if one dose not know how to use the seemingly useless things. its a quality one must have to win.
The black book has been PROVEN usefull even at its first stage. It has saved many that I know from suffering the effects of dijinn storm in a dullahan battle, and improves summoning rate sicnce there is nothing to worry about.
I have survived a mass attack of summoning before, it didnt work for one. its all icomes down to the use of stratagy & dijinni. IF one was to rush, their stats would be so low, they would die in the first turn. Due to the fact, almost evey member can casue 600-1400 damage by simply attacking.
Some of your guys may have a max attack, but attack isnt everything. A balanced status and a great stratagy will overcome one so offencive. You may casue, a little more damage, by about 200-350. but is that all? youll need 3 times of that to over come soemthing adn soemone thats hard to beat.
I may not be a gs freak and a geek or a nerd, but i show do my shiz.
I have read yours, but have you really read mine? it seems that you simply rushed when you looked at this.

About dealing more damage. Your looking at attack power, not potenual. 999 attack compare to 900 isnt so great of a difference sicne their both massivly high. And as for the two chaos lords, their enough of an offence. I know how to look at potential. I have the damage calculations programmed into my mind. All I think about is how the attack stats and damage formula will calculate.
Liek u said about the low level clasess. Its all due to the high lv stats. If what you say is true, then YOU SHOULD NOT go agaisnt me saying the possiblilites of more damage. An ineffective attempted rush would cost you a battle if one dose not know how to use the seemingly useless things. its a quality one must have to win. That is true. The Sage wouldn't be so bad if the other classes were top notch, yet they aren't. And the Dark Mage actually reduces stats *See list below*. Also, I know how to play. I wouldn't have an 'ineffective rush'
The black book has been PROVEN usefull even at its first stage. It has saved many that I know from suffering the effects of dijinn storm in a dullahan battle, and improves summoning rate sicnce there is nothing to worry about. It is useful in some cases, yet, with the decreased speed stat, I can almost assure I would go first, rendering your "Dark Mage Revivier" almost useless.
I have survived a mass attack of summoning before, it didnt work for one. its all icomes down to the use of stratagy & dijinni. IF one was to rush, their stats would be so low, they would die in the first turn. Due to the fact, almost evey member can casue 600-1400 damage by simply attacking. Read what I said. No djinn or summons, so while you survived summons with djinn, you would deal with neither against me. My whole party can deal 600+, almost. The ones that NEED to deal high damage do, consistently. Not everyone deal inconsistent damage.
Some of your guys may have a max attack, but attack isnt everything. A balanced status and a great stratagy will overcome one so offencive. You may casue, a little more damage, by about 200-350. but is that all? youll need 3 times of that to over come soemthing adn soemone thats hard to beat. You are missing the whole point. I woulnd't cause 250-300 more damage, I would cause 1000+ more damage. That is a big deal. And attack isn't anything really at level 99, since your attack will be so high naturally. It's about stats and the unleashing/setups.
I may not be a gs freak and a geek or a nerd, but i show do my shiz. I am not a gs freak and a geek either. I simply know the game well and defend what I know.
I have read yours, but have you really read mine? it seems that you simply rushed when you looked at this. I have read yours. That is why I created a huge response to it.
May I also remind you that you didn't really refute anything I said, you just changed around words to try and make it look like my points were invalid.

Dark Mage (I) HP 80% PP 140% Att 80% Def 90% Agi 140% Lck 90% Your HP, Attack, Defense, and Luck would all decrease, so yes, the Dark Mage does suck, even at level 99.

Again your missing the points. You basing you points through stats, not results. let me ask you, scince when do you use your sheba? Scince when do you switch around your character after every turn? Your team is inefficient "that word iss ssoo weak" cuz u lack a balance of offence and defense.
I left a point, you say all you need is 1-2 healers. If that is true, i can wasily kill them or seal their psyenergy. You cant back yourself up ocne their dead.

Looks liek I stil got mo time.
Tell me, whats your strong points?
Still, you missjudge the fact that when there is a chanse, it can happen.
Also, the thing about your setting is that it fits your stats. Not everyone will ahve the same status.
Sheba is not ment to be used 90% of the time, incase backup is ever needed. it would still be wise to ahve more than 2 healers scicne they are very vunrable.

If what you say is true, then perhaps stats is basicly all what an RPG is about. Like many, you looked at the stats, not the possible potentual it can cause. What and whom I face dosent matter, is what I can and will do. The weakness in his setup is his vunrability. Healers can be targeted easily, and most of the moves can be easily countered because fo the way its set up.
IOW, your looking about how much damage he can do. I can do just the same cand counter it with greater because of what psyenregy and dijinn settings my set up has given me.
A healer is always vunrable. A single turn can kill one if all is done well. If you lose a healer, thats it. A reviver would have a slim chanse of getting the healer back scicne there is only one.
Your probobly lvoting for him because you know him better. You havent exactly backed up your reason. Yeah, so what that quite a few people have bigger stats? Is that all you can tell me? My stats fit my setup, beasue all mine are strong enough to take wutever wherever.

Seriously, this is about being honest and thinking what you really belive. Its not really gonna prove anything if thats what everyone feels.

How would you be able to take me down? You don't understand what we're trying to tell you. Your stats aren't good and you don't have specialized fighters or healers. How would you take out my healer when you can't even deal 1999 damage due to your 2-3 healers/revivers. I can deal over 2500 damage if I so desire, PLUS I can heal 800HP all in one turn. You can't do that. I don't care if you have your reviver Sheba and your healer Jenna. I would take out 2 of your people PER TURN.
Anyways, if you want it serious, then you really can't give an excuse for him choosing me. But people, please be serious.

You havent back up enough info to saticefy me. Those are more of statements than comebacks.

Exaclibur
Mythril Helm
Riot Gloves
Mythril Clothes

For the dark mage, it bring a last resort revier.You can use as much dijinni as you want with EVER losing the REVIVE psyenergy. Also, keeps you form losing the revive ability when dijinni storm is used. everyone else is supposubly unbeatable, you dont really need her help. As for sage, adds another great addition of healers. Still, the fact that otehrs are still better, overrules.
Piers: Pure Mage "can be switch with Mia"
Exaclibur
Mythril helm

Mythril Clothes

Offence same as felix. Addss anotehr reviver and healer.
Isaac: Cant beat that!
Felix: Once again, good offence? I like it! I'm all for offence
Jenna: Good to have offence, and a little defence on the same person. not to mention a little back up healing
Mia: One of the best healing classes! Good for when all your characters are down at low HP, seems to work!
Garet: Offence! yes! or reviving person? both are good.
Ivan: My ivan is a pure mage also. just another backup healer! and he is naturally fast, so he'll probably get first in there to heal, before the enemy attacks you again.
Sheba: Never lose revive? sounds great! I always suffer from healing problms with that djinn storm move.. seems to work out!
Piers: Offence and healing? great!

If I could, I would null your vote. The darksword is for raising attack for EPAs. At level 99, you HAVE MAX ATTACK. What don't you get. Anything that is used solely to increase attack is useless at level 99.
That's the whole point of NOT using the DarkSword. And incase you didn't read (which you didn't) this battle wouldn't be using Djinn or Summons, and if you use a Djinn in a linked battle, you deserve to die.
If you honestly think a Dark Mage is better than a White Mage and Ninja, you should seriously stop playing GS.

You grade them as if you are facing a boss. This is for LINKED BATTLE GAMES ONLY. I am smarter than Dullahan and I don't expect to sit back and let Flip heal with THREE HEALERS in a row. Nor do I have djinn storm so the Dark Mage is crap as it is. He has split classes for each characters. Each character can heal and attack but they AREN'T GOOD AT EITHER. Which means that he can't deal maximum damage nor heal maximum damage. His setup is average at best. Not to mention HIS CLASSES SUCK. A Dark Mage, Luminer, Radiant, all suck. They aren't best in any category and where picked for practical use ONLY. They wouldn't stand up in any real battle.
I am sorry that I posted 3 times in a row, but each post was addressing a different point. Also, this makes me mad because the people that voted probably suck at making classes and equipment setups since they don't consider a Dark Mage an automatic failure of a setup.

Where dose it not follow logic? I have an older team anyways, that i havent submitted thats very simmilar to yours "class setup". I perfer this beacause it's orginial scince im the only one that has it so far, and i wont be concidered a jock.
Anyways, Ive been thinking about how the battle wuld turn out. And it seems to be more on my side.
Yeah, you can deal 3000+ damage per turn, if you get lucky. Not every tisiphone edge and excalibur strike you make will be successfull. And that dullahan psyenergy is awfully weak. My downside is that your faster than I am. So you can make the first tstrike. The thing is though, the full potentual rate for both of us would be almost equal, with mine tilted alittle bit mroe due to soem of your equipment. So there's still a chance for me to revive or heal whateverr, while you still ahve the chance to kill me in the fisrt strike.
The scale is tilted though, because by anychance you kill my guys in teh first turn, i can get them back in the next, and it still up to luck weather you deal nay more damage on me or not. The thing is, i have so many revivers, that centering your attack on the ones who can revive and heal, would of less use than killing my offencives, scine they would be more of a decoy. The thing is, you dont ahve many of them, so it makes me easier to kill them, and not worry about them comming back.
One weakness i also saw is yuour ivan. he cant be a master for one, but your has a rather high offence. But you make his offence useless by placing non-critical items on him. Chances are, he wont be doing anything over 1000. But there is always a chance, is just that his is reduced by like 35%-60%+. So, ivan has little use of any offence.
Piers has this dullahan thing like you mentioned. The problem is, its only going to fit your stats. And, due to his equipment, your better off using dullahan than your excab, because critical rate is very low without any critical plus. So, there goes your offence.
Somehow, your piers and ivan have an amazingly high attack, one that can be obtained through something. It obivouslty dosent make scence how thease two can even reach that high. They would have to surpasss the attack growth of Felix and issac wih the sol blade and attack + equip. Expecially piers with his class. Not even my friends "glitch and altered" stats get that high, well, its close actually.
Id have tyo say your people are somehow altered to they even reach the stats you say. An avarage usser wont be able to have the stats you ahve. And to even ahve the stats that you have, youd have to gain more than 4 of attack perlevel with some of the people that you mentioned.
You have alot of offenceive classes, which some lack the meaning of offence. It will be harder for them to reach their full potentual.
Can can also say that yours dose not follow logic. Due to soem of the statuses you tiold me. i have tried your settings last night, and i ddint get what i thought id get. Expecially when most of the time, i got the biggest growth potentual for at least 78 levels.

This will give Isaac a 97% unleash rate with the Sol Blade. You agility wil be off the scale and you will be almost unstoppable with a nice healer in the mix.

Agreed, Master Isaac is a powerful attacking force at any level. But it's actually a 99% unleash rating.

Jenna
Class: Paladin
Weapon: Tisiphone Edge

Shield: Riot Gloves
Chest: Mythril Clothes
Undershirt: Running Shirt

Jenna will be able to deal damage as well as heal. Her unleash percentage (84%) isn't as high as Isaac or Felix but she will still be able to unleash enough to make a difference.
82% unleash. If you don't give Piers the Darksword, Jenna could use the Demon Circlet to better effect than the Psychic Circlet. But, Jenna is pretty kickass in this class and equipment.

Class: Angel
Weapon: Lachesis' Rule
Head: Pure Circlet
Shield: Clear Bracelet
Chest: Iris Robe/Triton's Ward
Undershirt: Golden Shirt/Running Shirt
Boots: Golden Boots/Quick Boots
Ring: Any
Mia's class is different than what most people would choose. I chose Angel since that is the class with the highest water power. With the addition of the CB and PC, Mia's water power should be 150+. This will let Mia heal about 750+ with one Pure Wish. Add in the PP recovery of the Iris Robe and you have one super healer. She lacks the ability to revive, but Piers can do that.
I'm not a big fan of Angel Mia because of her terrible stats but she is decent at level 99. Break is useful to assist the powerful Pure Wish. I wouldn't give Mia the Pure Circlet because the Psychic Circlet helps replenish PP and has a good defensive bonus. An extra 20 water power is irrelevant when you're already healing 660 damage without the Triton's Ward. With the Triton's Ward you'll heal 780 damage but I think the Iris Robe is more fitting. The Golden Shirt should be given to an attacker because it gives an attack boost.
Piers
Class: Necromage
Weapon: Dark Sword/Excalibur
Head: Fear Helm
Shield: Cosmos Shield
Chest: Xylion Armor
Undershirt: Running Shirt
Boots: Quick Boots
Ring: Cleric's Ring
If Piers attack isn't at 999, it will be with this setup. I chose the Cosmos Shield to resist the elements as well as super defense. Attack with Call Dullahan or your Excalibur (If you chose it) to deal damage.
Piers' attack will not exceed 890. Sorry, try again. The Riot Gloves might be a better choice but this isn't a bad setup for Piers. Call Dullahan deals great damage.
Garet
Class: Ronin
Weapon: Excalibur
Head: Mythril Helm
Shield: Riot Gloves
Chest: Mythril Clothes
Undershirt: Running Shirt
Boots: Hyper Boots
Ring: Any
Garet as a Ronin is very nice. Great defense, but the speed is an issue. I compensated by adding in the Running Shirt. An 84% unleash isn't too bad since he has nice psynergy that can be delt out to increase stats, or nice EPAs.
Good choice. Ronin Garet is a pain to knock out and his resist boosting psy is very helpful. He gets a 94% unleash rating with this setup making him very powerful with Legend.
Felix
Class: Master
Weapon: Excalibur
Head: Mythril Helm
Shield: Riot Gloves
Chest: Mythril Clothes
Undershirt: Mythril Shirt
Boots: Hyper Boots
Ring: Any
Comment: This will give Felix a 94% unleash rate. He gets a Jupiter Boost for being a Master and is quick to deal that damage before your enemy can recover.
Hey, you got an unleash % right finally! Felix as a Master suffers from some wasted attack bonus but it isn't a big issue. He is a good attacker.
Ivan
Class: Ninja
Weapon: Tisiphone Edge
Head: Berserker Band
Shield: Riot Gloves
Chest: Aeolian Cassock
Undershirt: Mythril Shirt
Boots: Hyper Boots
Ring: Any
Ivan isn't an ultimate fighter, but he can do the job with his nice speed and max attack (999). He won't be your first choice but you'll be glad to have him dishing out damage while you recover.
Not good. Ninja Ivan is not good at all. 3rd tier classes are just bad. But, if you have to keep your classes, all the unleash upping equipment would be advised. The Aeolian Cassock has no place here. The Mythril Clothes should be used. The Lucky Cap could replace the Berserker Band but that's up for judgment. Also, Ivan's attack will not exceed 880. It just won't.
Sheba
Class: White Mage
Weapon: Lachesis' Rule
Head: Psychic Circlet
Shield: Jester Armlet
Chest: Mysterious Robe
Undershirt: Mythril/Silk Shirt
Boots: Fur Boots
Ring: Any
The PP+ 30 and the PP regen +12 will be great for this White Mage. Has the ability to heal and revive whenever needed and is quick enough to do it.
White Mage Sheba isn't too impressive but it'll fare decently. Another Clear Circlet should be used instead of the Jester's Armlet with the meaningless +30 max PP. With +22 PP from the Psychic Circlet and Mysterious Robe, PP won't be a problem. Dragon Boots outclass the Fur Boots.
Overall, you've got a strong first party that'll probably be able to counter most enemies but the second party is feeble and won't function very well at all. Good party selection and a good overall equipment selection. The class setup isn't superb. A nice setup, but it surely can be improved. With over 350 top-tier class setups in your power, why would you stick with the classes you have? Make an effort to change. On a minor note, use the Guardian Ring.

An ultimate offencive and defensive. stats go skyrocket, and you have the ability to bring back the dead. Unleash rate has a godly 98% chance "im guessing". Gives you the ability to cause 1300+ damger per Issac's turn.
99% unleash. Good. Chaos Lord is a solid class with great attack and Revive. But with the speed of the Chaos Lord you might want to switch the Running Shirt with the Mythril Shirt.
Felix: Chaos Lord
Exaclibur
Mythril Helm
Riot Gloves
Enrymes Tunic
Stardust Ring
Runnign Shirt
Hyper Boots
[it]Same as isaac, excapt doubles your offencive advantage. less liekly to do 1300+ damge due to exaclibur
What? Why? Chaos Lord Felix is good but you butchered the equipment. The Tisiphone Edge is almost as powerful as the Excalibur but the +35 venus power will increase the total damage by about 108%, a noticeable difference in combat. Also, The Mythril Shirt should be equipped to raise Felix to a 94% unleash.
Jenna: Radiant
Tisiphone Edge
Demon Circlet "cursed"
Riot Gloves
Iris Robe
Golden Shirt
Hyper Boots
Stardust Ring
Offencive, and defensive. high unleash rate, high healing advantage. high PP recovery.
The Radiant class is quite terrible in the elemental power distribution and stats. Obviously the Cleric's Ring should be used to counter the curse. Also, the Iris Robe wastefully boosts Jenna's already impressive fire resistance. The Mythril Clothes or Mysterious Robe would be a better choice.
Mia: Pure Mage [can be switch with piers]
Lachesis Rule
Psychic Circlet
Riot Gloves
Mysterious Robe
Stardust Ring
Quick boots
Pure master of healing. PP revory rate is pass 25, enabling for you to have an iffinate freedom of pure wish. Good for long term battles. Critical rate is not important. She wont be doing much damage anwyas. Ability to revive the dead./
Pure Mage is a good class. However, the Riot Gloves are a waste on a healer. A Clear Bracelet should be used to boost water power for Pure Wish. Also, the Iris Robe should be used here.
Garet: luminer/War adept if Sheba Sage
Exaclibur
Mythril Helm
Riot Gloves
Mythril Clothes
Stardust Ring
Mythril Shirt
Hyper Boots
Same as felix offencively, except it adds another wonderfull set of healers to your group, incase one is down. if war adept, your just offence
No, it is not the same as Felix offensively. Not even close. Luminier is awful. Let's make him a War Adept to make him respectable. Then you've got a good Garet. War Adept Garet. Not bad at all.
Ivan: Pure Mage
Tisiphone Edge
Psychic Circlet
Riot Gloves
Mythril Clothes
mythril shirt
Stardust Ring
Hyper Boots
An extra healer in the team. Slight offencive use. high critical rate liek all offencives in the team. Ability to revive the dead.
Great class for Ivan. But I wouldn't advise attacking with Ivan at all. He isn't effective. So give him a Clear Bracelet, a Triton's Ward, and Dragon Boots to maximize the power of Pure Wish.
Sage Sheba is decent. About equal to Nick's White Mage Sheba. Maybe a little better, but it's still lacking. Again, a Clear Bracelet should be used here. And where's her body armor? Well, whatever it was before, make it a Triton's Ward. And Dragon Boots would be better.
Piers: Pure Mage "can be switch with Mia"
Exaclibur
Mythril helm
Riot Gloves
Mythril Clothes
mythril Shirt
Stardust Ring
Hyper Boots
Offence same as felix. Addss anotehr reviver and healer.
Pure Mage Piers is a misfit with his stats but he'll function pretty well as an attacker/aux healer. The equipment looks good but I might give him the Running Shirt to heal quickly.
Overall, your party is unique. I don't agree with your party selection. I think that Isaac, Garet, Ivan, and Piers should comprise your first party. Your classes are surprisingly good, about on level with Nick’s. However you are indecisive with your adept's responsibilities when it comes to equipment. Adepts are better with a single focus rather than dual responsibilities. Your party is pretty unique but a good equipment overhaul would improve it greatly. After that, completely new classes are all that would improve it further. Also, you could use the Guardian Ring.
My verdict? I think that both of your class setups offer equal potential but Nick used what was given much better. His equipment choices are sound and he has two well defined parties. Nick wins my vote. With better equipment, Flipside's setup would be a contender. But, both of you have improvements to make.

I had to try to remember this, my GB is at my friend house. That enrymes tuinc is actually a mythril clothes, and some oth the myrhtril shirts are running shirts.
Shebva had soem equipment, ill ahve to look.
Yeha, mia had a clear bracelet. Forgot to edit after copy and paste.
That iris robe was there to make PP recovery, i prolly had my armors switched with mia and jenna.
I missed hte ivan part.
I dont know what else. Ill ahve to check.
Felix suppose to have excab/tisiphone edge.

What I am about to palce here is my ultimate setup. I got my gameboy back, and I guess I was able to find out my ultimate setting. Well, isnt the other one your ultimate? Wrong, it could be, but it's what I use. This is very similar to Nick's, but mine has a perect balance. No weaknesses class wise, like a dark mage example, even though its ahrd to prove to many that it's usefull. This was my team before I made the one previously saw. its no longer very original though. Except the one you previously saw was missing some equipment and such that I wont bother to edit and update. here it is:
Ultimate Class Setting Legend
Class Version:
Class set version one / Version 2 / Version 3
What this means is that if you plan to use set one or two, you'll ahve to stick with whatever's given to make that set. like if soemone had wizard / ninja. if you pick ninja, youll have to have everybody else on whatevers on version two.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Isaac: Master
Sol Blade
Warrior's Helm "Sol Blade Boost and criticals" / Mythril Helm
Riot Gloves
Valkyrie Mail
Golden Shirt
Stardust Ring
Hyper Boots
Master of offencive. First strike, first kil, first serve. Critial's increase up to 99%, cause an unstoppable megiddo unleash every turn, unless luck isn't on your side. Use your stardust to seal psyenergy if needed. With Warriors Helm, your sol blades attack wpower will be boosted.
Felix: Master / Ronin
Tisiphone Edge or Excalibur
Mythril Helm
Riot Gloves
Mythril Clothes or Enrymes Tunic "for attack and critical boost"
Mythril Shirt
Stardust Ring
Hyper Boots
Simmilar to Isaac, he is a master of offencive, though the scale is tilted becasue of the chanses of getting full potental with his tisiphone edge or excab. With T-edge, your attack will increase by some percent due to earth pwoer. Criticals are 99%, make good use of it. Also, due to your first strike, make use of your stardust ring and amke an attempt to seal psyenergy. it's gonna be tough, but if it works, hey, you win. If your ronin, make him use the defense boosters.
Jenna: Paladin
Tisiphone Edge
Demon Circlet "Max Defence and criticals"
Riot Gloves
Iris Robe
Running Shirt
Stardust Ring
Hyper Boots
Strong in offence, strong in defence. A perfect balance. With a 80 soemthing % of criticals, tisiphone edge is still deadly. Recovers 12 PP every turn, so you wont have to worry about loosing much PP.
Mia: Angel or Guardian / Angel / Angel
Lachesis' Rule
Psychic Circlet
Clear Bracelet
Triton's Ward
Running Shirt
Guardian Ring
Golden Boots
All defence, all healing. Revives, strong water power elemental with Pure Wish and Ply, your in for a healing! use her great water powers to heal greatly. You feel the concept. If you pick version two, youll be healing 800 each with pure wish, but you'll lose revive.
Piers: Guardian or Guru / Pure Mage / Guardian
Excalibur
Mythril Helm
Riot Gloves
Mythril Clothes
Running Shirt
Stardust Ring
Hyper Boots
Offence and Defence again. His attack should be 800-890 at lv 99, so this should work fairly well. Take advantage of your 99% criticals, and make use of your healing wehn needed. If your using verison two, make use fo the revives.
Ivan: Necromage or Wizard / Ninja / Guru
Tisiphone Edge
Psychic Circlet / Beserker Band / Beserker Band
Clear Bracelet / Riot Gloves / Riot Gloves
Triton's Ward / Mythril Clothes / Myhtril Clothes
Mythril Shirt
Stardust Ring
Hyper Boots
Not much of offence, make use of your healing. The slight water pwoer boost WILL help you out bit. Incase needed, make use of what little criticals you have, and just do extra damage with your T-Edge. If your using version 2, make use of his unleashes incase needed. And make use of his speed for first strike. If your using the third version, mkae use of his revives and criticals.
Garet: Master / Ronin / Master
Tisiphone Edge, Excalibur
Mythril Helm
Riot Gloves,
Mythril Clothes
Mythril Shirt
Stardust Ring
Hyper Boots
Same stratagy as Felix and Isaac. Unless your Ronin in vr 2. If your ronin, use your defense boosters. Another offencive in your party. Make use of your 99% criticals.
Sheba: Guru or Necromage/ Necrolyte / Necromage
Lachesis Rule
Psychic Circlet
Leda's Bracelet
Aeolian Cassock
Stardust Ring
Mythril Shirt
Quick Boots
Make use of her Call Dullahan, with increased wind power, you should deal some HEAVY damage. And dont forget Revive, your dead wil lneed aid. Her real purpose is to revive though. She is one of the few of the revive, so make use of sheba, and keep her from dieing. If your using version two, you'll lose the dullahan ability. So make use of whatever move she has like poison flow and revive.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That wraps up my ancient team. It will suit most of the tastes here. The weakness is it's vunrability i'd have to say. 2 Revivers just dosen't suit me, but I've always loved the Master Class, so i'd ahve to say I like this one better than my other team. No, i didn't copy nick scicne this tema was older than my other one, and i didnt even have my calbe running at that time. Though, i'd ahve to say its very similar. Perhaps this qill turn up the heat in this competition.
So, whats this team got what nick dosent? Well, all full class maxed. Tons of offence, tons of defense, and a ton of speed and elemental power. Well, their fairly the same. Except of soem of the clasess, like his ivan on ninja and piers on necro. They jsut arent ment for that. And his pier lacks the offencive potentual that he can actually have with this team. His sheba lacks the stats to survive. Similar to my Ivan. The rest is up to skill, stratagy, and stats.
Ill have to say, its not possible that someone's Piers and Ivan to ahve 999 attack with your clases normally nick. Like that dude said above.

What are you smoking? <_<
Sol Blade, Excalibur and Tisiphone Edge all have Godly unleashes becasue they can hit with 3x damage, which is Godly. Even if they don't unleash for 3 times damage, they still do very high damage.
Yes, the DarkSword does have the highest attack increase, but the unleash is horrible. A normal attack from a DarkSword should beat a normal attack from a Tisiphone Edge, if there was a major difference in attack power. At level 99 attack is so high and the characters are equipped with unleash increasing items that the Excalibur, Tisiphone Edge and Sol Blade all beat it.
Yes, Excalibur does have a Jupiter unleash, and no Jupiter Adepts can equip it. But if you notice, Felix/Isaac/Garet can become masters which is used by setting Jupiter Djinn, thus giving them Jupiter Power.
I didn't get your last point.

Well, think about this,
what nick said about lv 99 is true. Your better off doing psyenergy attaacks when you ahve the darksword. The damage difference would be off by 900 or soemthing anyways if you do unleash. So the darksword is pretty pointless.
In many cases, damge ower is all you need. You don't exactly need much of any elelemntal boost whith any weapon because it already dose so much by itself, depending on who you equip it on.
Point is, your darksword aint goin to do any stronger damage thna the excab when they are used as it's best.

Not at level 99. You don't unleash djinn what so ever at level 99, and the only EPA really used is Call Dullahan and Quick Strike.
And the Darksword for example would do 600dmg without unleash and the Tisiphone Edge would do 450dmg without unleash, yet with all the unleash boosting equipment, the Tisiphone Edge will unleash loads more than not and you will be doing loads more damage than the Darksword.

Secondly, this party will get better as it levels up (obviously)
Here is Dullahan's eagerly anticipated set up;
Party Name: Slay! Maim! Kill!
Stragey: This party is very attack focused and does the attacking mostly with the devastating front party, to obtain the good classes for the front a member of the back has been sacrificed (Ivan), but i'm considering using a Tomegathericon. The front party kills everything a the back does the healing. The front all have 30 Mist potions.
Front Party
Felix Current Level=63
Class= Master. HP=1340
Weapon=Sol Blade. PP=342

Armor=Valkyrie Mail. Agility=535

Helm=Gloria Helm. Attack=795
Gloves=Riot Gloves. Defence=407
Armor=Xylion Armor. Agility=520

Ring=Cleric's Ring.
Shirt=Mythril Shirt.
Additional Items=Mist Potion x30, Water of Life x8.
Legend, although stronger than Meggido (if all three hit) is unleashed alot less, but a turn rarely passes without either Isaac or Garet unleashing. Dragon boots being prefering to hyper boots for defense and resistance.
Garet Current Level=61

Weapon=Lachesis' Rule. PP=328
Helm=Beserker Band. Attack=548
Gloves=Riot Gloves. Defence=351
Armor=Triton's Ward. Agility=243
Boots=Hyper Boots. Luck=13
Ring=Stardust Ring.
Shirt=Silk Shirt.
Additional Items=None.
Mia is kept as an angel for healing reasons, and with Triton's Ward she has 180 Water power and 200 resist, very useful, i ran out of mythril shirts for the last three characters and i can't get anymore game tickets for anymore.

Ivan Current Level=53
Class=Guru. HP=810
Weapon=Tisiphone Edge. PP=324
Helm=Beseker Band. Attack=604
Gloves=Riot Gloves. Defence=364
Armor=Mysterios Robe. Agility=423
Boots=Hyper Boots. Luck=8
Ring=Adept Ring.
Shirt= Running Shirt.
Additional Items=None.
Ivan is the only member of the back party who can't use wish or even heal, he has a potent Vengeance and is useful for taking a few hits.
I intend to get this party to lvl 99 and i'm expecting the front party to all ahve 999 attack. This party relies on brute force over rngs and proof of it's achievements are that this is the party i beat Dullahan with, without using a single summon.

Well, you see, your absing potentual through records. With the setups posted by me and nicks, it also can be done.
The problem with most of your offencive's is that they have a setup which allows them to do criticals, but lowers the chances because of the gloria helm. 10 HP recovery isnt going to save you from an attack which can do 800+ to your guy. And with weapons such as T-edge and excab, critical ratio is going to be very important due to the chanses of not always getting full potentual. Which is also why Xylion armor isnt helping.
Your classes are fairly balanced. Several healers and 2 revivers. But their equipment isnt helping much. Such as sheba, she would need a pure circlet at least to overweigh her low class.
As for Mia, she has tons of offencive equipment when she is almost usless offencively. You should equip some PP recovery equipment like Psychic circlet ffor PP recovery "Pure Wish uses alot of PP, which will drain your magic quick", or some water boosters instead.
Ass for Piers, your equpment setup isn't helping eather. You have a critical required weapon with almost no critical bonus advantage. Your better off eqquiping him with a Dark Sword. Elemental resistance isnt going to help you agaisnt an attack which can do 800+ 'in other words, lose the boots if your goignt o ahve any offencvie". Also, a problem with Piers is that he wont be able to recover PP. Running out is going to hurt you in a long term battle.
Ivan seems to be more usefull than Piers offencivly. At least you got a few critical bosterss. But it isnt going to help your vengence any, its noit enough. Your better off casting spark plasma for your offencive.
Your party relies on brute force, likje you said, but lacks the "bruteness" in it. Offence isnt the core strength of this team. Your class setup is alright, though its very vunrable due to the calssess you placed up o nthe people with. Only 2 healers and 2 revivers, but lacks the power to reach its potentual.

You would have higher unleash percentage and higher AGL to attack more often, better, and faster.

You do realise the front party does most of the work, equipment that happens to raise attack is there because it gives the best defence, that's why Gloria Helm is there. The back is there to heal/revive the front. If all goes well a tough boss like Dullahan can be effectively dead before i run into troulbe. You say my party would struggle in drawn out battles, the simple answer to that is that battle don't get dragged out, Dullahan is the only enemy that can generally survive more than 6 or 7 turns, the doom dragon is dead is five. With a high defence i take less damage and therefore need to heal less, hence there are few healers, the front party's Mist Potions heal fine.

These setups aren't for the game. In reality, in game battles and linked battles are very different.
And the reason why you would last against Dullahan is because he does his stupid Elemental Swap. Do you honestly think a human player would waste such a turn?
I would be attacking you every damn turn focusing on your reviver and make sure she/he were dead in one turn. Then to kill your other two in 1 turn. Two turns and I could take out your whole front line up.

But you see, your attack power isnt going to matter because its high enough. The damage difference would differ greatly on the number of unleashes. Your defence is also highj enough. Besides, the ciritcal item boosts give you a bigger edge.

If you think about it, two turns in kiling an enemy party is unlikely if both were lv 99 without summons.
1- The only way thats possible is that the sol blade were to do a critical, and both T-edges and/or Excaliburs were to hit at maximum damage. Which dosent happen all the time, even with maximum critical ratio with all critical + items.
2- Most of the time, your enemy would have a very high defence, which would mean that causeing 1000+ damage with only 1 attacck is very unlikly, even you were a sol blade in a slayer calss with 999 attack. The damage should be around 800. You would have to concentrate your power on one guy to just kill him, because the avarage HP on lv 99 ranges from 1400-1900. And to kill one guy, you would need two people with max attack power to knock one guy out if their stats should be where they are at.
Of course, the outcome would all depend on the opponents stats and class.

Weather you go first or not, you'll lose. You'll have to rely on your summons then. Though when doing that, nick will ahve to ability to knock your guys out in one turn scicne they get weakend without dijinni.
I doubt you can kick any **** out of anything, seeing that you can only do 200-500 avarage damage, while he can do 700-800+ whenever he wants. And prorobly kill 2 of your guys in one turn, if he times it right.
BTW, did you notice he can heal 800+ each character? His Pure Wish dose the trick. Your out of luck realy, because your attacks will be over-canceled out. Your only hope would be the proper use off dijinins and isntant kill attacks for all I know.
Now, if you fought my 1rst party, I have like 6 revivers and like 3 of them can revive infinnately, not to mention a constant 700-800+. So you'll have a hard time on that. And for my second party, its very similar to nicks. You get the point.
This is taken from the point of veiw when both teams are lv 99.

And my so called lack of criticals can be disproved by Felix constantly using Meggido with almost 100% unleash rate, i did 80 battles in the arena and not once did Felix not use Meggido. I'll probably alter this party anyway, well atleast use mythril clothes with Isaac and Garet and some more Dragon Boots.

Well, if what you say is true, then somethings wrong with your game. Out of 80 battles, 99% persont of the time a person with citical plus items would at leasst mess up once or twice getting a critical with critical plus equip. But you, someone who dosent have all but one critical plus item, get none? What are the chanses of happening again another time?

Now you can't fight other people's full party and it's not needed on the in game enemies then there's little point for this RNG is there?
Charon's probably most effective in a real link battle.

Huh? RNG?
Charon might not work also, for the avarage luck is around 15. The only reason dullahan can kill easily is because he has 55 luck!

For each battle your unleash RNG restarts. Thus, doing 80 different battles would give you the same unleash percentage each time.
In one battle, if I had a 99% unleash rate, I would mess up at least once.
And
Quote
Class= Master. HP=1340
Weapon=Sol Blade. PP=342
Helm=Gloria Helm. Attack=816
Gloves=Riot Gloves. Defence=415
Armor=Valkyrie Mail. Agility=535
Boots=Hyper Boots. Luck=12
Ring=Guardian Ring.
Shirt=Golden Shirt.
Additional Items=Mist Potion x30, Water of Life x8.
How the hell do you have an almost 100% unleash rate? You have a 87% unleash rate while I have a 99% unleash rate. Who do you think has better chances?
Anyways, I'm not here to argue with you. I'm just here to offer suggestions and offer some help from a guy who's played probably a lot longer than you and who has tempered with setups and whatnot probably a lot long than you.

However, against a human opponent, you need to have specialized groups that are great at doing one thing to ensure victory.
If you have 8 people working at 50%, sure things would get buy, but if you had 4 people working at 100%, things get done faster and more effectively.

***FIRST PARTY***
Sheba - Wizard (2 wind, 7 water)
Righteous Mace
Psychic Circlet
Clear Bracelet
Iris Robe
Golden Boots
Running Shirt
Sheba is the ultimate spell caster. She has great water power to compliment her Freeze Prism and healing psynergy. She has great speed, fantastic luck, and will never run out of psynergy points. The Righteous Mace is there for the HP regen. After all, Sheba should have no reason to attack.
Felix - Chaos Lord (2 earth, 7 fire)
Sol Blade
Mythril Helm
Riot Gloves
Valkyrie Mail
Hyper boots
Guardian Ring
Running Shirt
The ultimate warrior. Chaos Lord Felix can deal the most damage in the game. Additionally, he's durable and pretty quick.
Isaac - Master (4 fire, 5 wind)
Excalibur
Mythril Helm
Riot Gloves
Mythril Clothes
Hyper Boots
Trident
Mythril Shirt
Isaac isn't quite as powerful as Felix but he has just as much durability and even more speed. Additionally, Thunderhead and Shuriken can deal some nice damage to multiple opponents.
Mia - Guru (2 water, 7 fire)
Blessed Mace
Psychic Circlet
Clear Bracelet
Mysterious Robe
Dragon Boots
Mythril Shirt
Mia is my durable healer. She also has good water power, Freeze Prism, and Pure Wish. She also has great luck to couple her great defense. Blessed Mace is there for HP regen. Mia shouldn't attack either.
**SECOND PARTY**
Ivan - Wizard (2 wind, 7 water)
Tisiphone Edge
Psychic Circlet
Clear Bracelet
Triton's Ward
Quick Boots
Running Shirt
Similar to Sheba. Not as durable, but a bit quicker and more powerful with the Triton's Ward. Good luck.
Garet - Ronin (5 earth, 4 wind)
Darksword
Fear Helm
Riot Gloves
Xylion Armor
Dragon Boots
Cleric's Ring
Golden Shirt
Garet cannot be killed with his fantastic Defense, HP, Elemental Resistance, and psynergy to increase his Defense and Resistance even more. Additionally, some great consistent damage can be administered with Quick Strike, especially with his attack boosting psynergy activated.
Jenna - Master (4 earth, 5 wind)
Tisiphone Edge
Lucky Cap
Riot Gloves
Mythril Clothes
Hyper Boots
Mythril Shirt
She is an all around weaker Isaac. But she has increased psynergy points for more Thunderhead.
Piers - Oracle (2 water, 7 earth)
Tisiphone Edge
Mythril Helm
Riot Gloves
Mythril Clothes
Hyper Boots
Running Shirt
The 'weak link' of the party. His durability, attack, and agility are all a little low but the price is well paid when he can effectively attack and heal.
All in all, this party's only weakness is a dirth of the Revive psynergy. But, as each party has two capable healers, this won't be a huge weakness. The classes are unrivalved in the Golden Sun world. Have fun!

You have Sheba, Piers, Ivan and Mia in healer classes yet they are wearing critical hit % boosting equipment. That defeats the purpose of the healer class.
Also, there is no point to boost the CH% for the Lachesis' Rule (as the Unleash isn't worth the wasted defense).

Thanx for your help against him :) :silence: You may receive my first GS MP3
By the way, My characters are all around level 99 (Isaac + Mia are 99) So i hardly get hit. I mostly evade attacks and if i get hit i take 1 damage cause all my characters have 450+ defence!!! I also let my Healers attack, cause they hit a good 500 with Lachesis!!! And if i get wounded i use my Djinn Crystal, Spritz and Flower to heal me, Aroma, Ether, Ember to restore PP and Spring, Fizz & breath to restore HP single. I also have all 3 guard-aura djinn in my attacking party.
And if you give your party 2 healers, the Djinn would be out of balance. I wanted to keep this balance to summon Iris in emergency cases!
O Yah, And Sheba ISN'T IN A HEALING CLASS!!! GARET IS!!!!!
And now i've edited the post for the fourth time, just to tell you that if u get Unleashes all the time, ur immortal. I always keep doing 1200-500-500-670, so no one stands a chance!

Did either of you read the topic? This is for competitive battling. It's painfully easy to beat Dullahan/DoomDragon with Base Classes so comparing your class setup against in-game enemies is not worth anything.
You must not get the point of a "defined" class. If it's a healer, it only healers. If it's an attacker, it only attacks. The only exception is Chaos Lord with Revive and Paladin with Pure Wish/Ply.
If you have a party with two attackers and two healers and one healer and attacker goes down, you're going to use your healer to deal the makeup damage? Good luck.
The purpose of a healer is to heal. A healer should do such little damage that attacking with it over healing would be stupid.
Defense wasting is inexcusable on a healer. The healer has to stay alive to heal and revive. With the exception of Water Power, Defense is the most important stat.
And again, boosting critical hits on a healer is stupid since it should be attacking.
Let's look at Garet -vrs- Sheba for class comparison:
Radiant
HP 190%
PP 140%
Atk 150%
Def 150%
Agi 140%
Lck 120%
Guru
HP 170%
PP 170%
Atk 140%
Def 150%
Agi 170%
Lck 120%
A Guru has more PP and more Agi. That is so it can heal better and faster. Also, when you put a water class (Radiant) on Garet (Fire Adept) and attempt to utilize his water power, you aren't doing very good. Garet is naturally weak with water, Sheba isn't. Thus, Sheba is in the healer class, Garet is in a sub-par attacking class.
And in comparison, I do 1200 per attacker. I have three attackers with one healer. I do 3600 a round while you claim to only do 2870. I also fully heal my party every turn. Unless you can do over 1999 damage to one character at level 99, you're out of luck.
Think of what I said and don't overuse exclaimation marks or emoticons at me again.

BUllshiz,
Garet Is weak to Earth (76 Resist/Power, while others have 78/79)
Sheba is weak to water (76 Resist/Power, while others have 78/79)
Isaac is weak to Fire (76 Resist/Power, while others have 78/79)
Mia is weak to Air (76 Resist/Power, while others have 78/79)
Also, It's Impossible to hit 1200 with EVERY character. You can only have 999 Attack Maximum, which means that even Mia With 999 Attack and Lachesis only hits a mere 750.
By the way, In a 2p Battle the element of surprise is essential. Thats why i made Garet a Healer,So i strike down their First Healer with Meggido, So they take down Sheba in the first turn, and next turn I meggido Their Second Healer.
They will have no healer nor Revival Options.
Note: Nick, I saw u looking at my post and u didn't react. Short on answer?

No, I'm not short of answers but you clearly didn't understand what I said. I said Garet is weak WITH water, not against water.
Anyways, SoT, I'm glad you like my setup.

Flipside says that his Isaac, Felix, and possibly Piers can do 1300+ damage. Nick, do you know how much yours can do? I know yours is more balanced, I'd just like to know the maximum attack power.

Check out Terence Ferguson's Battle Mechanics FAQ. There are the damage formulas (including the unleash modifiers) for everything.
I would image we can do the same. Attack is al 999, Elm. Power is pretty standard and if we're against the same enemy, we should do the same damage (similar +/- 3).

By the way, Nick's setup is working great for me. The criticals are so high, it's not only scary for opponents but for me as well.

i can't remember most of the equipment in TLA but i do remember the weapons
Which i think Isaac had the sol blade also i think i kept the thunder crown on him and i had the valkerie mail also gave him the golden shirt i got.
Garet with exaclibur, can't remember most of his equipment except i think he had the warriors helm
Mia and Ivan had nebula wands (Ivan did not have tiphon edge because i did not know about it till a couple days ago). See of Time most of the ways I battle is not by equipment alone but strategy thats how i defeated the boss
Also i think nick had better classes while i will need to look at the equipment setups to see who was better

A while back I created a Golden Sun setup that was just incredible. its not the Chaos Lord setup. This one's a slayer setup.
it may seem awkward but trust me it's worth it. just replay Golden Sun ^^
NOTE: Felix and Issac are interchangeable in terms of classes and equipment. I just prefer Issac to be the guy with the Slayer setup.
Isaac
Slayer
Items:
Sol Blade
Warrior's Helm
Riot Gloves
Elven Shirt
Hyper Boots
Golden Ring
Running Shirt
Comments: If you give all your apples to Issac, you will find this to be a very powerful setup. With this setup, your attack should be 999... and your Agility should also be 999!! What's so frightening about this setup? The Sol Blade not only get an attack boost from the massive profit of having all Earth Dijinns in addition to a constant 90% chance of Unleashing, but also you will ALWAYS go first, unless rivaled by antoher person with the Elven Shirt. Seriously, the speed is UNMATCHED, not even a Master Class can come CLOSE to matching the speed. Use it to your advantage and go for an ALL OUT OFFENSIVE!! In a vs match, you should be able to knock out your enemy in a snap. Aim for the healers, as they would not have a chance to heal. You sacrifice a small amount of defense for such an incredible offense. In addition to the already unstoppable offense, be reminded that this class offers you the ability to not only be the first to make the move but also make last minute revives that will certainly save you.
Felix
Master
Items:
Excalibur
Mythril Helm
Riot Gloves
Valkyrie Mail
Hyper Boots
Mythril Shirt
Comments: Felix here is your secondary offensive. Attack should also be 999, but the speed is somewhat frightening. Team up with Issac against one person to do an amazing amount of damage. And because Isaac is so fast, you should be able to keep your enemy in check, allowing you to be one step ahead of him all the time. Use the criticals as an advantage and blast through your enemy!! And it would help to cut off your enemy from healing. But with Issac and Felix in this setup, you can reduce the number of hits you receive by double teaming on an offensive player. First move, first kill. The goal is to cut off your oppenent from making any profitable moves, so be the first to make the kill ^.^
Jenna
Paladin
Items:
Tisiphone Edge
Demon Circlet
Riot Gloves
Erinyes Tunic
Hyper Boots
Cleric's Ring
Golden Shirt
Comments: Back up defensive and cross offensive. if you so happen to need to make a third attack, you can count on Jenna to do it. here attack power should be well over 900, and you have healing support just encase. Use the 90% criticals to your advantage. This should provide you with the chance to do sufficient damage to your enemies before a turn ends.
Mia
Angel
Items:
Lachesis' Rule
Psychic Circlet
Clear Bracelet
Triton's Ward
Golden Boots
Guardian Ring
Running Shirt
Comments: Mia has some GODLY capablities. She will HEAL LIKE MAD!! With all the water boosting, in addition to having all water dijinns, your ply powers should be OF THE CHARTS!! Her Pure Ply which normally heals 400 should now heal WELL OVER 700-800!! And if you want to ask about Pure wish, just note that your HP should be fully recovered with such a thing. In addition, you should be recovering 12 PP, so you should be able to have INFINITE PP, and with proper management, she would be able to heal 999999 times or more without ever having to reaching zero. Awesome.
Well, g2g. But rate what you see so far. I think it works like a charm. reviver's and status boosts are the other half but i'll cover that later once time permits. If managed properly, even the seemingly weak second half will allow you to do awesome things.

Ultimate Equipment
NOTE: WORKS BEST FOR LEVEL 99 Setups.
Isaac
Class: Master
Weapon: Sol Blade
Head: Mythril Helm
Shield: Riot Gloves
Chest: Valkyrie mail
Undershirt: Mythril Shirt
Boots: Hyper Boots
Ring: Any
This will give Isaac a 97% unleash rate with the Sol Blade. You agility wil be off the scale and you will be almost unstoppable with a nice healer in the mix.
Jenna
Class: Paladin
Weapon: Tisiphone Edge
Head: Psychic Circlet
Shield: Riot Gloves
Chest: Mythril Clothes
Undershirt: Running Shirt
Boots: Hyper Boots
Ring: Any
Jenna will be able to deal damage as well as heal. Her unleash percentage (84%) isn't as high as Isaac or Felix but she will still be able to unleash enough to make a difference.
Mia
Class: Angel
Weapon: Lachesis' Rule
Head: Pure Circlet
Shield: Clear Bracelet
Chest: Iris Robe/Triton's Ward
Undershirt: Golden Shirt/Running Shirt
Boots: Golden Boots/Quick Boots
Ring: Any
Mia's class is different than what most people would choose. I chose Angel since that is the class with the highest water power. With the addition of the CB and PC, Mia's water power should be 150+. This will let Mia heal about 750+ with one Pure Wish. Add in the PP recovery of the Iris Robe and you have one super healer. She lacks the ability to revive, but Piers can do that.
Piers
Class: Necromage
Weapon: Dark Sword/Excalibur
Head: Fear Helm
Shield: Cosmos Shield
Chest: Xylion Armor
Undershirt: Running Shirt
Boots: Quick Boots
Ring: Cleric's Ring
If Piers attack isn't at 999, it will be with this setup. I chose the Cosmos Shield to resist the elements as well as super defense. Attack with Call Dullahan or your Excalibur (If you chose it) to deal damage.
Garet
Class: Ronin
Weapon: Excalibur
Head: Mythril Helm
Shield: Riot Gloves
Chest: Mythril Clothes
Undershirt: Running Shirt
Boots: Hyper Boots
Ring: Any
Garet as a Ronin is very nice. Great defense, but the speed is an issue. I compensated by adding in the Running Shirt. An 84% unleash isn't too bad since he has nice psynergy that can be delt out to increase stats, or nice EPAs.
Felix
Class: Master
Weapon: Excalibur
Head: Mythril Helm
Shield: Riot Gloves
Chest: Mythril Clothes
Undershirt: Mythril Shirt
Boots: Hyper Boots
Ring: Any
Comment: This will give Felix a 94% unleash rate. He gets a Jupiter Boost for being a Master and is quick to deal that damage before your enemy can recover.
Ivan
Class: Ninja
Weapon: Tisiphone Edge
Head: Berserker Band
Shield: Riot Gloves
Chest: Aeolian Cassock
Undershirt: Mythril Shirt
Boots: Hyper Boots
Ring: Any
Ivan isn't an ultimate fighter, but he can do the job with his nice speed and max attack (999). He won't be your first choice but you'll be glad to have him dishing out damage while you recover.
Sheba
Class: White Mage
Weapon: Lachesis' Rule
Head: Psychic Circlet
Shield: Jester Armlet
Chest: Mysterious Robe
Undershirt: Mythril/Silk Shirt
Boots: Fur Boots
Ring: Any
The PP+ 30 and the PP regen +12 will be great for this White Mage. Has the ability to heal and revive whenever needed and is quick enough to do it.
*The above setup was created by me.

If managed properly, even the seemingly weak second half will allow you to do awesome things.
pretty darn good lol it's amazing , how did you come up with it? or did you? (not to sound
suspicious)

Please, read the rules before posting. But don't worry, you're new so I doubt you'll get warned or anything.

Like Toasty said, you gotta read the rules. You might not get warned this time, but if you keep doing that then a Mod will find you in a dark alley soon.

Felix
Ronin
Sol Blade
Crown of Glory
Big Bang Gloves
Xylion Armor
Hyper Boots
Sleep Ring
Basically with Felix, I use the Sol Blade's Megiddo and Quick Slash. At times, I can use Epicenter because I have 141 Fire power(with help of Big Bang Gloves). Crown of Glory for PP restoration. Xylion Armor for attack boost. Hyper Boots for evade increase. Sleep Ring for just somethin'...
~~~~
Isaac
Beast Lord
Gaia Blade
Crown of Glory
Riot Gloves
Valkryie Mail
Hyper Boots
Running Shirt
War Ring
Again, unleashes with Titan Blade almost every turn. I equipped him with the Gaia Blade because of the earth power/resist boost, so I could use Minotaur effectively, trust me, i had four extra tisiphone edges and an extra excalibur, so i ain't lackin'...C.O.G. for PP restoration, of course. War Ring, for an extra Impact without PP use. Running Shirt for somethin' extra.
~~~~
Piers
Warlock
Excalibur
Crown of Glory
Aerial Gloves
Planet Armor
Hyper Boots
Guardian Ring
Trident
I use this guy to attack with Legend and use amazing psynergy. C.O.G. for PP restoration and A.G. + P.A. for an extra little boost in wind power. The trident because, well...just because
~~~~
Ivan
Pure Mage
Lachesis' Rule
Psychic Circlet
Clear Bracelet
Mysterious Robe
Hyper Boots
Spirit Ring
The party healer. Amazing psynergy points and equipment to match. PP recovery +22 each turn!!! I can effectively attack with him each turn with Apocalypse for around 350 damage. If he dies, I can just revive with Isaac's Phoenix. A very very effective healer with revive as well.
____
2nd Party
____
Garet
Chaos Lord
Fire Brand
Dragon Helm
Aegis Shield
Xylion Armor
Dragon Boots
Adept Ring
Nothin' to be proud of, but effective. Suggestions?
~~~~
Mia
Pure Mage
Lachesis Rule
Psychic Circlet
Riot Gloves
Magical Cassock
Golden Boots
Golden Shirt
Adept Ring
Another amazing healer. A bit more sturdy with Ivan, but a little lacking in speed, a little. She's pretty good at unleashing, but...ya...pretty good.
~~~~
Jenna
Dragoon
Tisiphone Edge
Psychic Circlet
Riot Gloves
Triton's Ward
Hyper Boots
Silk Shirt
War Ring
An effective healer, but no revive...however, she makes up for it by having a wide array of available psynergy. Triton's Ward is there for the extra boost for Pure Wish.
~~~~
Sheba
Wizard
Atropos Rod
Psychic Circlet
Riot Gloves
Iris Robe
Hyper Boots
Mythril Shirt
Unicorn Ring
Another effective healer. With PP recovery at 24 every turn, Sheba aint goin' down easy.

62
56
55
58
