Your Userbars look nothing like the userbars that 99% of the rest of the internet population use. They don't have the right font, text placement, diagonal lines, 3d look, or even a border.

I'm not saying you should stick to those guidelines exactly, but whilst your "userbars" are just a rubbish background with some boring, fuzzy text, I predict a whole lot of "No"'s in your poll.

Here's a tip. Confidence. Be proud of your work, no matter how badly it gets shot down. Don't go removing your own work just because it failed to stand up to criticism. Leave it as a cornerstone to archive your development and as a reminder to "jump over when the bar is set".

It's p[robably because you're backround is blue. Either that, or it's a default setting. But the text and picture are kinda gritty, and the text style doesn't fit well.

Userbars are bleah anyway. They're like those T-shirts that have statements written right frikkin' ON them, as if you have to depend on a T-shirt to make a written statement FOR you.

But anyway, I was about to go into rant-mode so I'll stop typing now. :(

I like a lot of single songs too... Bands I need to look at: Plastic Constellations Cauterize Patent Pending And a bunch of local bands that you'll probably never hear of. Pandora rocks. I'm running out of things to say here. Perhaps I like duct tape? Yeah. This likely won't be touched for another year when my tastes have completely changed.

Wind Seer, I think the font you want is Freshbot.

I'll give a really quick sample of a semi-decent userbar if I ever get around to it.

Betterish, the background is there. The text is still not right, unless you are trying to make it look like that. What I would do is put a one pixel black stroke around white text. And also, what's the little clear thingy on top?

nice, though the Felix sprite to an non-gser would just look like a mess of pixels. Ask the person who made the usebar in the sig what font he/she used.
