[Sea of Time]

Alright, here's how this is going to work. Thanks to numerous votes in the Greatest Gamecube Game topic, I've determined a list of nominations. However, to make this accurate, I would like to vote out a few (right now there are 17 nominations).

In your posts, I want you to vote off one game. Not two, not "I can't choose", just one. When or if that game receives 2 votes from two different members, it will be removed from the list.

When there are ten games remaining, I will open the polls and we will finally be able to crown "The Greatest Gamecube Game".

I'd vote off Wind Waker. The cartoonish-cell shaded graphics pissed me off everytime I fought a boss (Especially Ganondorf). The plot line was dull as I spent many hours sailing the vast oceans of nothingness. :D

Wind Waker was good IMO, but it was really short.

I vote off Soul Calibur 2. That game SUCKED ARSE.

I vote off Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, I lothe that game. Nintendo knows NOTHING about how to make a proper DK game, leave that to Rare (on the DS) and to Paon from DK: King of Swing.

Jungle Beat was actually pretty fun, but then again, I'm a drummer. Just about anything that requires hitting on something to make a beat is fun to me. :P

I vote off Mario Party 5, as that was the one that sparked the crap sequels. 4 was enough.

I vote off "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess" (GC), for the simple reason that it came too late in the console's life, and was reborn into the more definitive Wii version.

Wind Waker had no creativity to it besides being able to sail on a boat, but that was made dull while you spent long voyages on a stupid ocean. I spent weeks waiting for it (I reserved it) in anticipation only to get a box full of crap. :P

Putting that game on this list is insulting to other games that arent even as bad as this one.

If anything, Wind Waker was a more "defining" experience of the GC era, for better or for worse.

Fair enough. My next vote is for Mario Party 5... just no way that a game like that should count as the defining game of a console generation.

I'll vote LoZ:TP. Since it was also ported to the Wii, even though it may have been the last GC game made, it doesn't deserve to be a defining game for the GC.

Damn. All the others are really great games. My least favourite from the list is Viewtiful Joe though, so I'm voting off that game.

I'll vote off Wind Waker. Even though it was a great game, I don't think it really defined the GC. Melee however, that game defines Nitendo as a whole IMO. :P
