Yes. With practice, I might be able to beat that shooter. I've got mad skillz at similar games such as Galaxian.

This however, I find much harder. Instead of just looking for holes in the wall of bullets flying at you, you have to know how to manuever around things, dodge things, and figure out patterns and whatnot.

Plus, I've always found the Super Mario games to be hard. =\ Especially the ones from the 8/16 bit era.

The server speed is about 20kb/s, it should only take you about half an hour.

IWBTG is a LOT harder than it looks. One of the guys who beat it made it look easy, and he died numerous times in each video. Once you die, you don't just start where you left off like you do in the shooter. You start off from your last save point. In hard mode, they don't come that often. Even in medium they're a little scarce.

IF that game is harder than it looks(and it looks INSANE), then it msut be crazy hard. I don't get how that guy even beat it. I cna guarantee jsut looknig at it, that I would in NO WAY be able to beat it.

If somebody told me that I was to die if I didn't beat that one boss, I would just tell them to kill me then, so I wouldn't have to go through the furstration.

^ Agreed. He was funny though, but only occasionally.

And almost no platformers LOOK hard. Shooters like that one look hard a lot of the time, and they're either as hard as they look, or easier. If you can play one shooter, you can pretty much play them all.

It's a bit different with platformers. You can't always tell how sensitive the controls are, and unlike in shooters, where everything is moving, you have stationary objects, which are harder to line up with. It sounds weird, but it's true. You can get the timing of a moving object down pretty easily and match it, but you can't get the timing of an object that's not moving.

And when things ARE moving, everything get's a LOT harder, because almost all the time (esecially in IWBTG), the moving elements aren't moving at the same pace. Plus, the game was designed to suprise you and kill you when you least expect it, and suprise and kill you when you MOST expect it.

Basically, IWBTG is designed to kill you in every chance it gets.

That might be his laz0r. One of those little unexpected things that will kill you without notice. Though all I know is that you have to kill him first before you go down the hole, or this crazy-ass laz0r beam shoots out from the cannon and kills you every time. No exceptions.

I know, but it's not that. I keep misjudging my jumps and nudging one of the spikes. Though I've found it helps a lot if you hold jump as you step on the bullets.
