Anyway, there's FINALLY another one after 19 years. I'm definately going to see it.
Has anyone else seen it? Or are you going to?

I've seen the trailer as well. It looks like Lucas hasn't gone all Stars Wars on us and make the whole thing look unrecognisable, it looks like a real Indiana Jones movie.

I jsut think that Indiana 4, won't really be an Indiana movie. I mean, Die Hard 4 was good, but it wasn't really a Die Hard movie. You know what I mean.
Oh, offtopic but, Kevin Smith being in DH4 was pure awsomeness.

When interviewed a few years ago, he was asked if he would ever agree to another Indiana Jones movie, and he said yes. I'm not surprised in the least, and if it was anyone but Harrison Ford, I'd boycott it.
Like Me111 said, no one deserves to touch that hat ecxcept for him.
And Shia Lebouef is LUCKY. It was only a few years ago that his only noteable role in anything was "Even Stevens", and that was as a quirky prankster. Now he's in an INDIANA JONES MOVIE. I would kill for that part. But if he becomes the next Indiana Jones, I'll crawl into a hole and die.
And Kevin Smith is an awesome actor.
And Kate, dubbed mainstream anime is worse. BELIEVE me. The "Not so funny, funny parts" are too frequent. They make me want to hurl.

I'm not going to worry too much, as it's the first review I've seen. Even so, it sounds worrying that the movie may have picked up the CG disease that the Star Wars prequels had.
What is this "CG Disease" you speak of? I know no such thing.

Well when it comes to Starwars, it'd be kind of hard to even do just lightsaber fights without CG (excluding the sabers). The fights in IV,V, and VI were pretty....bland in comparison. Besides, CG is a lot cheaper. Though I fail to see how Indiana Jones would find it hard to get funding.
I just hope they don't make scenes like the ones in the Temple of Doom where the water comes gushing out of the mines, in CG. If they did it before without computers, they can do it again. It didn't look half bad either.

And what the FUCK is up with the monkeys? That part was the most superfluous and un-needed scene i've ever seen in a film.

Th Raiders of the Lost Arc and The Last Crusade were both quests for Christian based items. They were also both the best. Coincidence? I think not. -_-

I watched it a couple of days after it came out. I was going to write a long version of this post but I can't be bothered and I doubt any of you'd bother reading it if it were long.
It was fun movie. It really was. I enjoyed watching it and I think alot of people forget that when you first watched the other three movies you were about 6 or something (well I was). I thoroughly loved the action sequences personally, even if some of them broke a bazillion physics laws (fridge escape anyone?)
One thing I would've wished they'd have done is stick with the old Mayan/Aztec mythology, rather than bringing in aliens. That was hard to digest personally.

It was just the most awesome one.
Raiders was awesome too, because of the face melt scene and the boxer on the runway
Crusade was only made good because of Henry Jones and the boat chase in Venice. The bit with the nazi's and the zeppelin was awful.
