I enjoyed GS2 more than GS1. The world was larger, the party was more interesting, more psynergy and there was just more things to do and more freedom.

I'm interested in hearing what everyone else thinks and why. If this topic was done before, well, I'm sure it was old, and outdated. Probably smells funny too.

GS2, same reasons mostly. While GS1 was vital, it's storyline was kind of cookie-cutter and typical RPG. I like how it developed with at role reversal of Felix being the good guy.

Same here, TLA all the way. Bigger, funner, better in almost every way, except I think GS1 was a bit harder. GS2 was the game that actually made me a fan of the series.

          Yep. GS2 was better imo.
Both were awesome but GS2 just had more to offer.

I prefered GS. In GS2, the plot seemed slower and I didn't like the replacements for Saturos and Menardi.

tla for me too, i found that going onto tla after completing the original there was such an improvement, the story stopped being Lamey McCliche, more freedom, more things to do and a much better cast. how sequels should be made.

best thing about tla was that it gave the player the impression they playing a non linear game when actually they were

Yep. Big world, no particular order to explore things helped. All JRPGs should be like that in my opinion.

I could swear that there's more than two people here who prefer GS1.

I'd prefer GS1, I found it easier to get into and I found it much more fun even though GS2 had more game play,it seemed a lot slower and it didn't seem like much was happening until you get to Jupiter Lighthouse.

GS1, maybe because it has more replay value for me. More story, new stuff everywhere. And not that much artifacts to keep track of.
