Most annoying enemies

Here's some of mine:
Flood-Halo series
Worst. Enemies. Ever. So basically, space zombies that can possess corpses and attack you, making their numbers pretty much infinte. It's not so much the combat forms that possess bodies that make them annoying, its those bloody pure forms. The tank form, taking literally hundreds of hits to take down wastes all of your ammo, and usually while you're fighting these, there's more flood around it making it even more difficult. The spider form, which aren't all that annoying because they dont attack you and morph into the other pure forms. Finally, the most irritating flood form; the ranged. These wankers will cling to a wall shooting unlimited needles at you with only one, very small, very well hidden weak spot. Whats more, when you shoot the weakspot, sometimes it will drop to the floor and morph into a tank form. Lets put it this way. I hate the flood.
The Pyro-TF2
Not so much an enemy, but when on the opposing team, dayum they're annoying. The bane of spies, they can blow your disguise without even meaning to, and if you're cornered by a pyro, there's not a lot you can do except that hope that there's a friendly medic nearby to heal you. I've been dominated by pyros more than I have any other class.
Barnacles-Half Life 2
Little slug things with long tongues that hang from the ceilings in dark caves. Walk into the tongue, and you have a very small ammount of time before it pulls you up and eats you alive so you have to shoot it fast or lose a lot of health very fast. Usually they're easy to kill, if you know how to deal with them but they are on my list because of 1 reason: the 1 bullet achievement, which you get for playing through episode 1 firing exactly 1 bullet, which is used to open a lock. From then on, you can only use gravity gun, crowbar, grenades and rocket launcher to kill stuff with. This is very very annoying when you get caught by one, because if you throw a grenade, it will bounce off and fall down, if you crowbar it, you're close to it so it will hurt you as well, you cant fire objects at it because you cant look 90 degrees up and you cant rocket launcher it because you will blow yourself up as well. This makes this achievement bloody anoying.
Wretches- Gears of War
These things make me shout at my screen in annoyance. You'll know when some are in the area because of the glass-shattering screeches. About the size of a monkey, these are single handedly the most annoying enemy in Gears. On their own, their relatively easy to take down. But no, it's never that easy. They come in packs of roughly 5 usually. Because they're so small, you cant see them attacking you and the only way you will know is because your health is rapidly dropping. If you're surrounded, you cant chainsaw because it takes too long and the other ones will have killed you by the time you've killed one. If you know what you're doing you can take them out easily; just melee them with a weapon that isn't the chainsaw which is usually an instant kill. But they can drop down from pretty much anywhere. You'll think you're safe but the ceiling caves in and about 3 of them drop down and start attacking. If you're not observant, you wont have noticed until you're almost dead. This is very, very annoying while sniping. What makes a wretch worse are volatile wretches. These wretches simply put, explode when you kill them. You can guess why they are much worse than normal wretches. If you're surrounded by volatiles and kill one, the explosion from the one you killed will set off a chain reaction, blowing all of them and you to pieces. And when you're confined to tight spaces most of the time while facing these, it gets pretty frustrating.

These guys are so powerful it's not funny. They just love to follow you while you run around training, and then suddenly turn hostile and cast -ga spells on your asses. The only things worse are Entites, which are about ten times stronger. :@

If your minions even go near water, they die. End of. This makes it really, really frustrating when there are small paths that you have to guide your minions across and end up slipping or not stopping resulting in a whole lot of dead minions.

There's nothing worse than building up your village and crafting your navy to perfection, ready to launch an ocean offensive when some smarty-pants Assyrian rolls into your village with a Helepolis and starts knocking chunks out of your Town Center. Or builds a Seige Tower just out of your vision and wastes your resources as you build units to smash it down.

Nothing is more annoying than having a tiger maul your villager to death as he frantically tries to build a wall to prevent the oncoming seige. Sometimes it gets to the point where I have to have a small squad of soldiers guarding the villager as he builds the wall so tigers or wolves dont attack.

Those guys that limp around with their back covered in poison headcrabs. If you try to run away, they throw crabs at you. If you try to shoot them, they take ages to kill. If you try to blow them up, the crabs fly off unharmed and then swarm towards you. Luckily the poison can't kill, but if there's any other enemies around you're toast.

And with poison zombies, just lob an explosive barrel at them. Kills the zombie and sets the crabs on fire.

And I don't know about you, but I found the fast zombies easy to hit. They were usually jumping at me from the front, so there wasn't much aiming involved.

oh yeah, um. That's from MM:BN. Yeah, so you're stuck on some annoying mission, where you have to go get data from some dude, 'cause the guy's too lazy to it himself, right? And you're just trying to do your thing, when EVER FIVE SECONDS you get attacked by one of these stupid viruses! And they're never little easy mettools that are just easy to pwn in a single strike. NO. They're usually some really annoying virus, like in Castillo with the crazy sheep viruses. OH OH! and the Undernet's the WORST! not only do they attack you every five seconds, but they drain 200+ HP if you make one wrong move.
Precisely why I stopped playing long ago. D:

Anyhow, so many enemies from Metroid Prime 2. Dark Ingsmashers, Rezzbits, Grenchlers...
A question: Do we count only regular enemies or bosses too?

The Regenrators or whatever they are called scared the hell out of me, especially the first time you see one.

The Volk-Crackdown
This is a little odd, because these guys aren't actually supposed to be the hardest gang ( the hardest is supposed to be Shai Gen) but I found the Volk a lot harder then Shai Gen. I dont know why, but i'd always die a few times taking on one of the generals before finally getting it right. Most of the time because of snipers on the roof that would not leave me alone.

Banshees are so cheap. I'm glad they got dumbed down in later games, but on Halo you're guaranteed about a dozen free kills before someone manages to grab the rocket launcher and blow your worthless *** out of the sky.
Really the only cure for shee noobs is to either ban them as they come, or more easily, remove them by downloading a trainer.
And then as soon as people realise the game is modded, they decide to start flooding the chat box with LAG, LAAAAG, and my personal favourite, LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAG.

My favorite team and unique unit, but overall most annoying unique to fight against. Their long range makes it almost impossible to infiltrate a defensive home once they are in great numbers.
I have a love-hate relationship with these guys.

On Legendary campaign, these things are possibly the most annoying thing in the whole game (apart from flood). Basically, they're pretty much immune to bullets, it takes 3 sticks to bring them down and you cant hit them with rocket launchers or fuel rod guns because they just dodge. However, their plasma cannons can kill you in seconds if you dont find cover and the banshee bomb is an instant kill if it hits.
Online, they're a lot easier to take down, but still equally annoying. If you dont have a missile pod, wraith/scorpion or plasma grenades, there's pretty much no way you can take these down. They plasma you to death and if you're not paying attention, they'll come from behind and splatter you. The worst type of banshees are the pussies, who wont come down to the ground in fear of hijacking, so stay as high up as possible.
But when you're in a banshee, you pwn ^^ making it equally difficult for the enemy. Especially when you have both banshees on your team( eh, tom?)
