Not much to say on this that you already shouldn’t know but so far (After 13 reviews) it has a 99.3% score on game rankings, not to shabby.

It looks incredible. I laughed whn a guy on Gametrailers said he'd give it 6.9 and that Mario Kart Wii was better.
I think I may have timed my sitting on the fence over next gen to perfection. I'm hoping I can find a 360-GTA bundle pack.

Seriously. It has to be pretty epic. I've watched some live streams of it too, (people actually playing the game while you're watching) and it looks very good. Much improvement all around. I didn't really like the previous GTA games.

Alright, my favourite review site, GameSpot gave GTA a perfect score also. Yeah, I know GameSpot has to do some healing after this whole fiasco early this year, but honestly I usually agree with their reviews the most after playing a game.

Do you know what this means? I was planning on buying a Wii this summer, but honestly, I'm leaning towards the PS3 now just to play GTA (and of course MGS4, FFXII and others)... Maybe...

Anyhow, I've never been a huge fan of GTA, but I would REALLY like to give this game a go. Still, I probably wouldn't like it much more than previous GTA's. But, like GL, I can appreciate the greatness of the game.

I doubt it actually. While I do think the percentage will drop as the next phase of reviews come in (that did happen with Galaxy), there's no way it's going to drop a full percentage point in total review average - and that's not even mentioning the PS3 version of GTA IV, which isn't on the list yet.

We'll see...but I think GameRankings should rethink their policy of taking in reviews. Most of the Reviews for the 360 version of GTA 4 are from XBox 360 magazines. Of course they're going to give it a 10/10.

The thing with GTA though is that it's never too serious. It's realistic, but kind of not. If you get what I mean. The setting is realistic, the story is realistic but it has that 'slapstick' nature to it, and totally out of this world situations, like 1 man taking on the army in a helicopter. The people who take it too seriously are the haters.

Just completed it. You have to make some really hard decisions in the game, and the last part of the games changes based off of a certain vital decison you make near the end.

I got the game Saturday, and I can safely say it kicks ***.

Shooting people is still hella fun, and has been inpromed dramatically.

Warning lvl's are harder to obtain, but stay with you for longer.

My only major beef, is the fact that EVERY car drifts an insane ammount, on even the smallest of turns.

The people that Niko ****'s with, are straight up crazy. One dude blew out one of his lackie's brains, just for the fun of it. This is also the same dude who sniffs blow everytime you see him.

Kick *** game my friends.

The funnist thing happened to me and Tom earlier. I saw a Red banshee with a white stripe down the middle (Tom's favourite car) and I killed the driver so Tom could have it. When Tom came up to it, the driver came back to life, drove about 20 metres and crashed and died again. Was the funniest thing thats ever happened on GTA.

Well, I finally got myself a PS3, so I've been having fun with GTA IV. I've gotten pretty far in the short amount of time I've had it. It's been more enjoyable then the previous versions imo. Niko is actually has a personality and has a reason besides money for doing what he's doing. The minigames actually work compared to being just thrown in like some other games. I dare say it almost deserves those 10 ratings, though there are just a few issues here and there, but really don't hurt the experience.

That's one of the best/frustrating missions in the game. Few tips; always take cover, take out all of the policemen, not just the marked ones, and always get headshots.

Well I was doing ok. At one point there were a few policemen so I threw a grenade. Unfortunately one of the brothers decided to chase it and ended up dying. How frustrating.

6. If the vehicle you and your friends are riding in is on fire, it's polite to inform them before jumping out
7. If you survive a heli crash, destroy the remains to eradicate evidence
8. passengers: inform the driver of your vehicle before you drop a grenade from the window. he may be about to park
9. If a friend tells you that you can press Y to switch weapons in a helicopter, they are no longer your friend

I had something similar happen. A friend of mine was just like "enter this(and he listed a code)" in SA. I enter it. SUICIDE!!!

I was playing online and someone was flying a helicopter. I got in and they went high over the city. Then they decided to leave, meaning I ended up plummeting to my death.

Besides the battle mechanics and some of the Gamplay mechanics, SA > 4 any day. SA had so much more to do. Sure, now you can track down criminals in cop cars, but before you could do taxi runs, and ambulance runs. And the mass ammount of cheats in SA was just crazy. Remember, there's a fucking suicide cheat..
