Disaster: Day of Crisis is an Action-Survival/3rd Person Shooter Wii-exclusive 2nd-party title in development by Monolith Software.

In D: DoC, you take control of Ray, a former member of an elite rescue task force, and not only will you have to face nature, but also an unknown group of rogue commandos who have taken advantage of the catastrophic events and seized an atomic weapon.

The main character looks like Wolverine from X Men. :P But the game looks interesting so maybe it'll be good. After all the Wii doesn't have many good games that don't have Nintendo slapped across them.

oh i dont know....the majority of third person shooters in the last two years?

i really cant see this being any better than average unless they put some geniunely fresh ideas into it. Comments refering to Wii controls will be laughed at

Yeah, but the Wii doesn't have many decent FPS. I could see your reasoning if this was for the 360, but the Wii needs some good FPS's. Who cares if it's a mishmash of various FPS's? All of those are on other consoles. Besides, I can't think of an FPS yet that's based around a slew of natural disasters. They're all about alien invasion or the military.

The graphics look pretty good, and the trailer looks cool. I'll decide whether to get it or not once I see some in game footage, but I'm leaning towards getting it.

in todays market its better to assume everything is crap and let the worthy titles prove themselves otherwise

To be fair there is always going to provide a negative reaction when a game is previewed. After all that's why a game company will show off a game, to judge people's reactions and act on them.
I'm sure they'd rather have someone say they don't like the look of their game before it is released rather than afterwards.
