But good lord I hope not. Apple needs to go back to the proverbial kitchen and bake iPods until it dies.
Wired is an awesome magazine though. If you're not subscribed to it, and you're a nerd/geek in any way, shape, or form, subscribe now. It's awesome. Heck, it's great even if you aren't a nerd/geek.

Trying to imitate the Wii, huh? Honestly, I just don't see it as necessary for Apple to join the gaming industry. I would probably be more accepting if they did something original with their games, but the title of the article makes it seem like they're gonna try to rip off the Wii. :\ Hopefully, they won't make something like iBox Live or it'll really be sad.

Apple will be a thorn in the side of the gaming industry, or at least an annoying pebble in it's shoe. They're not going to bring any competition.

Nah, Microsoft was sorta good for gaming. It sure made Sony decrease the PS3's price quicker.
I can't see Apple entering gaming though. They just don't seem to be the gaming company.

And I hope you know Sony owns 5% of Square.
Gosh, why the Sony hate everytime?

Sega's said quite an insightful bit of info about the iPhone's capability.
