Uh, welcome me again even though no one remembers me?

Anyway I'm 16 now. (My profile says I'm 17... yeah I'm guessing as a 12 year old when I registered I tried displaying my age older than it truly was? Go figure internet.) Now why would I return back to this community? Golden Sun is pretty much dead no? Well I've thought of an RPG concept that has game play elements inspired by Golden Sun that I would like to develop on the Game Boy Advance/Nintendo Dual Screen platforms. To get in touch with familiar game play from the game, I actually replayed Golden Sun 1 and 2, this time paying more attention to game play elements, spriting techniques, map designs, puzzle designs, etc. As I played through the game, I thought back to this community, so here I am. Anyway, Camelot did hint a possible sequel, but after a bit of noise from their golf game (that no one really cares about) it seems like they don't really plan on a Golden Sun 3... Truthfully I'm kind of surprised this website still exists as many websites have died along with the history of the series (ignoring the short and somewhat irrelevant appearance of Isaac in Super Smash Bros. Brawl). But I'm glad it's up and here I am again. I'll pop in now and then to discuss a bit and check in on Golden Sun World progress.
EDIT: Wow. I just looked at some of my previous topics and posts. *face palm*
And ew... my signature is made in MS Paint... wow... this account is quite old.
Also is there anyway I could change my username? I no longer use this the name "RagaKnight" and I would like to change to a more common name that I use on the internet.

Anyway, welcome and stick around. And call me Toasty. My current username was given to me after a round of russian roulette.
....which I deny ever entering.

Anyway, hope you stick around and have fun ;D

Don't be so surprised, Max promised this site'll stay open as long as people keep coming, and the community's remained.
If you're serious about a name change contact GL, he'll probably help you out.
Welcome.

Wow I would have never thought that skidz knew of the Redwall series.

But yes, I love the redwall books. They may not be on the reading level that LOTR or Silence OTL are on, but they're fun books.

And as you probably know I'm a HUGE Tolkien fan. I'm missing only 3 of his essays, but other that, I have evey book/esssy/poem/faerytale he's ever written.

I honestly can't remember the last time I've played a videogame. Maybe two or three weeks ago? Even then, it was only GoldenSun.
I spend most of my day on the internet. Doing nothing. Much better use of my time than reading.

A book is reading, something someone wrote, someone with Intellect. Just no, get out.

Wrong; reading is never a waste of time, Toasty.

Newspapers/magazines do count as reading. Anything you read counts as reading. Also, anything written properly is worth reading. It'll improve your writing as much as it improved the author's did writing it.

Like technology magazines/blogs, or the newspaper.
Reading can be anything. You're reading this right now right? That's considered reading. It just depends on the content you read and how you read it which defines if it becomes a productive experience.

Anon and WD win the topic.
But Anon is always right. So we have no problem here.
Hold on. Toasty, what are you doing on a board where you have to read people's posts? Boards aren't a book!

OH SHI-
.....anyway, I just don't like reading books. Every time I do, I feel like I've wasted a chunk of my time.
If the reading involves gaining information I deem interesting, or conversing/debating with people, then I don't mind.

Tolkien books gave me knowledge into early english history, and a slight look into the finnish language thank you.
John Grisham books gave me knowledge of how the legal system works.

In a movie, you see Gandalf, and that's what he looks like. Ian McKellin IS Gandalf. But when you read the book, you may see him as looking completely different.
