This was a bit creepy. Any violence surrounding games is never great press, but when the game is Advance Wars, it's just downright bizarre.
The links between the game and the case are pretty tenious though. Even the Daily Mail would struggle to link these two. Just shows the internet is a pretty messed up place even in the least threatening of places.
EDIT: The creepiest thing is that they met on a forum not too dissimilar from our own...

They don't state that Advance Wars or his forum had anything to do with the death though... It would be absurd to believe that AW caused this.

The news report I heard suggested the two had meant on an Advance Wars forum that the victim created. I don't think he was killed because of differing skills at the game, more likely some nut saw him on the site and decided to kill him.
