Seriously, Nintendo only makes movies or TV series for it's extremely popular things, like Pokemon. It simply wouldn't be worth it, especially to Camelot.
Besides, knowing Pokemon, they'd prolly screw it up. The TV series is the #1 reason that Pokemon got the crap it did, and it's haters. It's what booted up the HUGE popularity, thus, people took notice, and bashed it.

Hell yes! It would be awesome! You could make like 500 eps (numerous side quests and stories).

Yes, I'd make a sweet anime, as long as they didn't screw it up by putting it on Fox and making it 'kiddie', or something similar. Because I wouldn't be suprised if the makers stuck Garet with some sort of goofy voice, and make felix sound evil. ><
I just don't trust much networks with shows anymore. ;)
But again, I don't think anyone would make it. To them, it's probably not popular enough to get enough profit to be worth spending money on a TV series.

(Fox killed Sonic Adventure with SonicX...I don't blame you for not trusting them, Meglo, but they did bring us The Simpsons).

I personally think that there should be a series for each game, with each series consisting of two seasons of about 50 episodes each, and a final 2-hour movie. Both series would be part of the same timeline, but would be distinct and focus on different sets of main characters (say, perhaps 70% of the time would focus of Isaac's party with about 30% for Felix in the first series, visa versa for the seconds series, and both parties would have joined by the time the movie would be released). That would provide plenty of time to develop a story without rushing it too much. It would only have to loosely follow the game's plot, not unlike the way the Rockman.EXE anime goes about doing it.

Episode X: Isaac and Co. try to make it to Bilibin, but are stopped for a while by a particularly persistant Djinn that thwarts them at every turn.
Episode Y: After finally getting that stupid Djinn, they try to go through Goma Cave, and despite various warnings about the cave being haunted and having horrible monsters in it, they still try and make it through. Horror ensues, and Garet nearly wets himself.
Episode Z: They finally make it to Bilibin, whereupon they learn of all the treeness. They try and stop it, and the episode ends as they fight Tret.
That's my ideas. You could also do something after TLA about all the wacky stuff the gang gets into.

Seriously, though, if a show were to be totally true to the game, it would be both boring and weak. It's gotta be original, with no holding back. Only the absolute major plot points should be covered in a sequence corresponding to the game's. And those can't be entirely true to the games either.
Let's take a look at but one example in Rockman.EXE: Yuriko is Mariko's twin sister in both the games and anime, but in the games, she's a former WWW agent who works as a summer school teacher, whereas in the anime, she's a top-ranking Nebula agent, thought to be dead by her sister.
Kraden wouldn't have to be the annoying old fart he was in the games, but rather a happy-go-lucky absent-minded alchemist who has a nasty tendency to frequently blow the roof off his cottage in many experiments gone wrong. (BTW, that's just some idea I pulled out of the air to illustrate my point.)
I'd love an anime, but only if it were based loosely on the game's plot. I must agree with Kikuichimonji, however. If I had a choice between an anime and a third game, I'd go with the game.
Side note: If/when they make an anime, y'know what would be awesome? If the Wise One would sound like the G-Man from Half-Life. Studdering, never having a consistent word inflection, taking a pause in the middle of sentences, and just trailing off on incomplete thoughts - all while still sounding creepy and sinister. I just think it would really suit his character. If you wanna know what he sounds like, just download the latest Half-Life 2 video off of Fileplanet.

Piers: The guy who did Kurama on Yu Yu Hakusho. Mysterious, but obviously good.
Saturos: That guy who did that Super Kai guy on DBZ (DBZ... yech). It just seems he has the voice for the job.
