    Played the demo, it looks as awesome and smooth as the videos have shown it to be. It's very unique and immersive. All of your movements feel natural thanks to the well-implemented head bobbing, and the controls are good to boot. The only thing I can honestly complain about is that it feels a little weird to put jumping and attacking onto trigger buttons, and a few times I forgot which trigger was the attack trigger.

    Other than that (minor) complaint this demo gave off a great first impression. I went back and completed it a few times. It was way too short! I wanted to play more. I'm definitely picking this up one day.

        I'm worried the gameplay might turn out to be a bit too simple. It looks like you're just going to be jumping around doing the same damn thing for the entire game. Well technically, it's kind of like Portal in that regard, but I don't see GLaDOS in any screenshots...

          If the levels are large enough and there's different ways to approach each objective, I see this as being a great game.

            Seen this on GT TV last week. Look's intense.

            @ Split-Portal is a great example. Simple design concept, with a challenging twist to it. I'm sure thise will turn out great.

              And not to mention, you know, the polished white environments, momentum physics, level-based gameplay, speed run challenges and emphasis on disarming your enemies rather than fighting them.

                  Downloaded the demo, but haven't played yet. Looks very good from screenshots and videos though. However, it looks like it'd only be a rental game; probably not much replay value and no MP from what i've heard.

                    They shouldn't even release it as a full game. Have it part of a part like Portal, or have in downloadable on PSN and XBLA.

                          Full game is 8-10 hours long. About like an average FPS. It'll be fine. Plus, there's stuff to find and collect in every level.

                                  I hope the actual game isn't as linear as the demo. I mean, there's 2 or 3 routes you cant take that branch off from a path, but they all connect again soon after.

                                      You obviously haven't seen much about this game if you think that then split.

                                      It's a first person platfomer/parkour game. Not a stealth game.

                                                I tried the demo out, and its pretty fun. I kept screwing up some things, but other then that I enjoyed it. Looks like it gets too complicated with the moves and stuff though. I would probably die often.

                                                  I found the moves pretty second nature after a while. I've played the demo loads of times though, I really did enjoy it. It's still too short!

                                                          also downloaded the demo and liked it

                                                          stylish, original and just plain fun. The controls were fluid although i never managed to clear the demo without ****ing up once DX

                                                          Hopefully the final release will encourage a sense of adventure and exploration, not jjust have you fall to your death like on the demo. Combat is a bit clunky too, but hopefully you wont have to do too much of that

                                                              Ars Technica reviewed it today.

                                                              Sounds awesome, but short. And like there's a few things that could be changed for the better.

                                                              Wish I had a PS3/360 to try it out myself.

                                                                      I always feel uncomfortable when I see the commercials for this because the game isn't Grimdark like those that have come before it lately.

                                                                          Usually I tend to think first person games are ALWAYS better on PC. The only reason I think this might be one for consoles is that momentum has a LOT to do with this game, and the analog stick suits that sort of thing better than the WASD keys.

                                                                          No, a demo for PC isn't out yet and it is coming out later than the console versions which actually came out today.

                                                                          Gamespot and IGN reviews are lukewarm, but they were complaining about stupid things. (that it's not an FPS) All the other reviews are pretty favorable.

                                                                            I was actually refering to how most current games have an excesive amount of brown in them, while this game is bright and clean.

                                                                              Meh. It's a change for the better imo. If there was one thing I liked about Super Mario Sunshine, it was the bright vibrant colors. Obviously that style wouldn't fit in most "hardcore" games, but I still prefer it over a gray and brown canvas.

                                                                                  I've been following this game ever since it was first announced in Edge magazine. Though I love how EA DICE are trying something new, and that the demo was a blast to play, I'm pretty sure you won't come back to this game upon completion. I predict it will be much like Assassin's Creed; something you have to experience at least once but once you've done the story mode there's no real replay incentive unless you're too poor to buy the next new game on the market. More importantly, I would totally hit that. Can't wait for the Faith hentai to start pouring out upon the game's launch.

                                                                                      This game is ****ing difficult, and it's not helped by the controls and perspective.

                                                                                      For example, I'm running towards an edge but I dont know if I'll clear it or grab it. From where i'm looking, you'd think i'd clear it so I hold L to roll out of the landing and not get hurt. But no, i grabbed it and because L is let go when grabbing, I fell to the floor.

                                                                                      But it's pretty fun so far. Easy to get lost though.

                                                                                        For example, I'm running towards an edge but I dont know if I'll clear it or grab it. From where i'm looking, you'd think i'd clear it so I hold L to roll out of the landing and not get hurt. But no, i grabbed it and because L is let go when grabbing, I fell to the floor.

                                                                                        But it's pretty fun so far. Easy to get lost though.

                                                                                        I think it's times like that where you need to slow down time.
