Just played and completed the demo. It's pretty good, though can be annoying at times, for example when a boomer vomits on you, and you cant see a thing. While you cant see, every zombie in the level comes to rape you when you can see, so you usually just have to fire blindly. It doesnt help how Zombies run at 80mph either.

It would be better if zombies were a little slower, because if you're swarmed there's no way out if you get knocked down until a teammate picks you up, which is a bit stupid.

i only got killed by the witch and the hulk thing, never died to the swarms and i was playing it like it was Unreal XD

really enjoyed the demo, this is definately going to be one of the multiplayer experiences

I thought Dead Rising looked pretty good, this looks awesome, reminds me of 28 Days and Weeks later with the infected.
Unfortunately Zombies scare the **** out of me.

It think it's about time Valve scrapped the Source engine and just made a new one, instead of constantly updating Source. Source is really starting to show it's age despite Valve's best efforts...

Characters, gun models, and animation looks good and the physics are still great, but the environments themselves are very blocky and look too "neat". Valve also needs to stop lying to themselves that you can just shade in certain spots of clothes to give the effect of wrinkles.

That said, the games are still fun soo... whistles

Source2 will probably be released with Half Life 3, I doubt they'd switch to a new engine while they're still working on another episode. Although that would explain the delay. ):
