I cannot stop listening to it, it's absolutely incredible. "There Was A Time" has some of the best guitar work i've heard in years. Absolutely sublime album.

    Anybody else have it/heard it?

        Have you listened to it?

Different=/= Bad. Critics love it, and although its not really Guns anymore, its still great music.

I agree all the way. "There Was A Time" is the best song, and Bumblefoot/Buckethead absolutely destroy in the second solo, Buckethead just can't use that killswitch enough in my opinion, I get chills every time.

So it's like Indiana Jones? Good action movie, horrible Indiana movie.

And no I haven't, I've avoided it like the plague. Might youtube it, since you speak highly of it.

If you ignore the band name, the controversy, the fact that this is 13 years in the making, this is probably the best rock album in many years.

But it's not Guns N' Roses. More like Axl and Friends. =P

It's also over-produced as all get-out, which some GNR fans despise, but I personally love. I mean, it's 2008, and he's a cocky bastard. What did you think was gonna happen?

Yeah, the real Guns N Roses have a pimp name and a giant curly-haired guitarist with shades and a top hat.

Great album, but this is not GNR.

I'm not debating that the current GNR isn't old GNR. And fuck you VR fans, because they aren't GNR either. Closer than WapoGNR though.

VR are still excellent, though they SHOULDN'T HAVE FIRED SCOTT!

                      Bastards.

But yeah, if you look in the credits for each song on say, Appetite for destruction, theres about 5, maybe 6 names there, but on this there's absolutely loads of names under each song on Chinese Democracy, which just goes to show how much work has gone into this. Not to say that their previous albums didn't have work into it, but this has been much more refined.
