so yeah basically I am heading up to north Alabama to visit the grands. I will be there for four days starting tomorrow, so yeah. I will be on tonight but afterward you shall not see me for 4 days.
I am pretty happy about it, my girlfriend gets to go with me. ;)

I would make a joke about how Georgia is some redneck state, but unfortunately I don't hear many jokes about Georgia on American comedy so I have no idea how to make fun of it. It is very much a redneck state. My family only moved here because my dad's job takes him around often, I plan on moving back to NY within a year by transferring to college. My home for 17 years, I simply can't imagine living anywhere else, except Boston.
And London. One of my close friends went there for the semester, and she said it was fantastic, and it's similar enough to NYC in terms of diversity and the urban feel that it won't be too much of a transition.

It was pretty cool.
Got to hear some pretty interesting things said in public places when out in the more redneck areas.
