If you look through the Goldensun/TLA/3 forums on here, you'll notice that most of the topics haven't been posted in since before you even made your account here.
As DS said, it's been a while since the games were created. Though I assure you, discussion will probably start again if GS3 is ever made.

This is the beginning of the portrait list from TLA, when read directly from the game's data (Screenshot from my TLA editing program). This part of the list is identical to the original Golden Sun's list, except that Piers is missing.

Yeah. Amusing, isn't it?
It would have been wicked awesome to have played Alex, put it looks like Piers trumped him in the end. Haha, that brings a bit more meaning to Alex's line of "So you found a new Mercury Adept in my stead? I'm disappointed," or something like that.

No, if they decided on Alex being playable, they would never have made Piers. Not only that, someone else would be the evil guy wanting the power of the golden sun. **** that ****.
