Can you recall the last time we got a new member that actually stayed? (And don't say we are the reason they don't stay). First off, the new people who join want GS discussion, and when they realize that isn't going to happen, they duck out. Secondly, this place is pretty tight nit, and when people see that it kind of scares them off.

Neither of those things are bad per se, but the chances of us actually getting new active members are very slim.

I'm just the exception.
