Namco Bandai's new Tales mothership title is the Wii exclusive Tales of Graces. It has been in development for over two years already and is set for release in Japan in Winter, 2009.

Symphonia 2 was thrown together with resources left over from the original Symphonia. Namco Bandai did not mean for it to be a "mothership" entry in the series the way with Tales of Graces. It's already had over two years of development behind it, more than Symphonia 2, with another half year to go.

The game is being designed around the Classic Controller (Pro), so no waving or motions.
Keep in mind the significance of a main entry in the Tales series, this is meant to be another Symphonia, Vesperia, or Abyss, not correlate with say FFX-2 from the Final Fantasy series.

That gives me faith that it wont be a complete wreck but...
To me that really doesn`t matter because the Tales games are generic and shit in 3D.

Yes, if I say so, because it was my opinion. They dont feel any different then say Star Ocean. The 2D Tales of games were unique.
