It's good to see Golden Sun on there, but #32? I don't like it's chances.

Since you posted it first; yeah, 32 isn`t that great Riad. Actually, on that list it`s fucking terrible. Just look at 26 and 27. If those two are above GS, then it`s right fucked sir.

The world philosophy in TWEWY is even more confusing than Kingdom Hearts, if they try to elaborate on it with a sequel my brain is going to liquify inside my skull.

Hey I want the Lost Odyssey sequel.
Still at least it's nice to see fan recognition but I'd be surprised if anything ever was done.

These are the tastes of gaming in Japan. What may not be enjoyed here may be immensely popular there.

And I posted this to list to indicate two things:

1) There is a base for Golden Sun that remains.
2) The rank of Golden Sun is actually not at all bad. Click on the link from which it was taken. Famitsu has the full list which puts not only the series, but the last entry of that series. There are 21 series that have had entries after the last GS game, i.e. after the 2002 release of Golden Sun: The Lost Age in Japan. If you remove those more recent titles, Golden Sun hits 11th place, which is actually fairly decent for a series that debuted in 2001 on an old handheld.

I didn't really find the story confusing but I'd have no clue what they would do for a sequel, I just know it's the only game so far on DS that I haven't wanted to put down.

Well if anything, the most important aspect to take from this poll is that there is a base of (very) dedicated GS fans. As long as it continues to receive some acknowledgment, especially in a gaming magazine that is as widely read as Famitsu, then it is better than nothing.

You`re making this out to be bigger than it is. 32nd isn`t going to make the Camelot guys look up and say "hey people want this shit". It would have to get higher than that. I just think you're maknig too big of a deal over this.

It's the first mention of Golden Sun in any official media in a long time. I don't care how small it is, for our purposes as the last remaining GS community, even the smallest tidbit should be just acknowledged.
